The Agelocer looks amazing. I ask them if they can do custom printing to remove the 80 hr etc…. They are able to. But need a minimum 10 watch order to do it.
Yes totally agree with you, both excellent choices , I myself picked up the Agelocer recently and am very pleassd with it, it definitely looks better quality in person back and front and also keeps good time on the timegrapher. It does have H Moser vibes and considering the price overall packaging etc I think well worth the money a great bargain.
The Agelocer is a decent looking watch with nice dimensions. The movement is very nice as far as finishing is concerned, and I like that it's a high beat with 80hrs power reserve movement.
What is impressive with the Gel Ocer movement is that its sized for modern case/dial sizes with the date out at the edge (nod to Nomos) where it should be for maximum numeral size. The Swiss are still using movements designed for 28- 32mm cases leaving the date wheel smaller and well inside the dial edge.
I'm worry about your voice situation, but this is one of the first video I can hear you clearly with my regular volume of speaker. Please take care of yourself but keep this nice sound quality!
I have the Sugess, different dial, but I am really happy about it. It looks great, it feels great, strap was first thing I threw out. Review on point, well done.
I just received the very same chronograph and I also swapped out the toad skin band with in 20 minutes of opening the box. I’m well pleased by this purchase otherwise, thanks for the heads up!
IMO they should put an applied logo on the dial above the brand name and put "80 hour power reserve"' on the lower half of the dial. Great picks and reviews as usual mate!!
Thank you and curse you, Jodi for all that you do. I hadn't worn a watch for more than two decades, but last year my grandfather literally gave me his heirloom watch on his deathbed. I wanted to learn more and found your channel. Since then I have bored my wife to tears with my new obsession, and bought 6 watches, 5 of which were at your recommendation. Thank you from the bottom of my Scottish/German heart for showing me how to recognize quality and value, thank you for teaching me so much, and on my dear wife's behalf I must curse you for the endless hours and hundreds of dollars I have spent on my new hobby. The watches are glorious, the value superb, and your videos entertaining and informative. As an aside, I have since bought my wife and father-in-law watches they absolutely love using what I have learned, and am now about to buy my brother in law his first true dress watch, as well as saving up to get grandad's watch serviced to ensure it operates in full glory. All of which would have cost far more and been less sucessful had you not guided my journey. You have given me much, and I love and hate you with a passion for encouraging my obsession. God bless, and good luck. From a fellow be-kilted lover of the horological arts.
I am a big Sugess fan. Just picked up a Tourbillon from them finally. It uses the Aventurine dial and oddly enough that same case on the Agelocer 13:27, and it has the same sides with the little indent. It does come on an alligator strap though which does look nice.
I really like both of these, I am most impressed with the Agelocer, second hand is a bit different but not a deal breaker. The Sugess is really pretty, very vintage looking.
The Agelocer looks lovely! Combined vibes of Tissot Heritage Visodate and like you said H. Moser. Also a beautiful movement too. Thanks for the reviews.
The Sugess looks great however... does the date changes and monophase with the central hands as a regular watch or do you have to change it manually? 😳
Purchased the agelocer after watching your aliexpress video , just received and unboxed mine after sizing the bracelet I have to say I really like shiney blingy wrist presence. Wears well on my 7.5 inch wrist
I'm glad you looked at the Acegloer. I've been thinking about picking up a Hamilton Jazzmaster or maybe a Mido. But I think I can save some money and get a cooler dial with this one.
I have owned the subdial seconds Agelocer for about a year. The leather strap by far the best from Ali brands. Heat blued hands. Only gripe was no hacking. Finishing blows SM away.
Can I ask, when you will do a review on Casio GST B600? I think you said you ordered one a few months ago. I would like to know your opinion of whether it's a good watch or just a cheap plastic that's not worth $300+
Hi Jody, just seen your email regarding a free strap kit for the Origin but there isn't a code for it. Do you just add the strap kit regardless??? I really fancy a Blue Dial version on a Curved H Bracelet..👍👍
The Sugess is the one for me. However, it'll have to wait as I've fallen down the VH31 quartz movement 🐇 hole with Watchdives. Picked up three of their Ranger/Explorer 36mm range in the sale. Hoping they pop up on your channel in the coming months. For £50-£60 they're outstanding.
I saw your top 5 and the Sugess look so good I hit the buy button, it arrived earlier in the week and yes it’s stunning, whilst I agree the strap is awful I too changed it out for a brown one and it improved it no end. Thanks again Jody and I hope you feel better soon.
I was a little surprised to see Jody using a pen. He is unwell so he maybe he just grabbed the nearest item. A wooden toothpick or wooden skewer is what I use. Any other suggestions welcomed.
My Bliger GMT explorer homage is a fab watch Seiko NH34 movement and a sliding micro adjusting bracelet Looks great and keeps great time. Only £80 including tax.
I all the “me too” major brands, good value, great quality and available. My only challenge is I like to see a watch on my wrist before I buy but I might break that rule on one or two from the brands in your video. Thanks
FINALLY, Jody recognises the Spring Drive and the GS’ nature-themed dials! I have the SBGA465, with the ‘Frost’ dial and I love it. The Spring Drive is unique - I do not understand why it is not treated with more respect. It lacks lume to be a GADA watch, but the screwdown crown and 100m water resistance provides adequate robustness. I only own this watch, apart from a discarded SKX. In my view it is the movement and the design to rule them all. I prefer mine on a strap, and have a dozen or so exotic straps from Tunsleather, a Vietnamese strap maker on Etsy. Finally, I bought mine new from a Japanese dealer on Chrono24. Saved about 25-30% on GSAD in Australia.
I finally picked up the similar Agelocer with the 12 and 6 markers (Hamilton American Classic Intra-matic / Timex Marlin). Had to use up my bonus (reimbursement). I ordered one of those 1963 under 100$ and received the quartz version. I really wasn’t expecting that. 😂 I figured I can go wrong at that price (US $139) for an 80 hour power reserve decorated movement and colour matched date wheel
I like the high beat auto you got. Looks very good for the money for sure. I don't like the bracelet either. Just my opinion. The leather strap you put on it really looks like an expensive watch.
Get used to it Jody. You have years of sickness to look forward to. My personal favorite was atypical hand foot and mouth where the bottoms of my feet became blisters. Fun.
My 1969 model Citizen date watch is exactly the same colour grey sunburst dial Jody! I have mine on a Milanese strap at the moment. I was looking for a nice understated leather strap so thanks mate!👍🏼😂 Oh & get well soon! My immune system improved 10 fold when my kids were at kindergarten!🤧😷🤒😆
Geeze. That voice. I hope it isn’t painful. Another amazing video!! Two great buys and on my short list for the next sale or maybe even before! Thanks Jody.
Get well soon Jody. I remember those days of kids at school/daycare exchanging the lurgy! Could you let me know what your "elevator" unboxing music is, please? I always enjoy hearing it.
Maaaan I don't even like salmon dials OR moonphases (I've never understood what purpose that could possibly serve and it seems like it would just be a hassle to update for no benefit), but that thing is pretty. Not bad for an Ali watch.
Been watching your channel for a while and bought or considered a lot of what you’ve covered. But, my watch journey is now over. I bought myself a Rolex Air King 126900 and I am in love forever. One watch man now. Can’t seem to take it off or let it out of my line of sight. I genuinely considered one of your Erebus watches, but alas, the Rolex has stolen my heart. ❤️
1) No more leather watch straps! FREE Audrey Mars' Piglets! 2) That Sugess dial colour is a beaut! This is also one of the most readable face/hand combos I have ever seen. Makes me want one 😍
They should have taken another design cue from H Moser and skiped the branding on the dial. Would have made it look classier. Otherwise really nice looking movement
Right, right, kids in daycare, right. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about the cigar bar last night. 😉 Still takes a good 4ish weeks to receive Aliexpress stuff here in the USA. Didja watch the debate last night? Oof! Man oh man... 🤦♂️ Both excellent choices in today's review! That salmon pulls a little orange though, it seems. If only Sea-gull could build a little quality and longevity into their movements, that'd be awesome. That Agelocer too is beautiful. Totally agree about the "80H POWER" needing to be deleted. I really like that spirally counterbalance. It's 1/4 of their logo and it looks really good on that seconds hand.
Weird randomnly clicking around and I found a suggest that can be shipped, just not the link in the description.. And the Agelocer for 180 (cant be shipped), not interested in the Agelocer, so if you see the same as I did just look at the suggested alternatives and you'll prob find one you can order.
I have a little one on the way! My other two are 14 and 6 so not as many diseases coming home. However, daycare for the little one is going to be a nightmare.
@JustOneMoreWatch Why does no one talk about Carl F Bucherer? I think they own or are associated with Rolex. But no one talks about them or rates them. Can you enlighten us with a little history and ranking of Carl F. Bucherer watches compared to other tiers? Thanx.
Get well soon Jody but that husky voice isn't an Australian accent sounds more akin to here in Caledonia 🏴 Great video bud as always lovely watches both. Blessings 🙏🥁
I also bought the moon phase Sugess and I’m really impressed with how beautifully finished it is. I love it!
Same. Great and affordable watches indeed

Hi, great review.
Does the sugess have a proper 29.5 Day moonphase ?
I know some have 31 and is just a modded Date wheel.
✌️
I missed diseased Jody. Thanks for bringing him back!
Man that chrono with the salmon dial and applied numerals looks gorgeous. Definitely picking that up soon.
The Agelocer is a decent looking watch with nice dimensions. The movement is very nice as far as finishing is concerned, and I like that it's a high beat with 80hrs power reserve movement.
I have an Agelocer Codex. The movement in it sounds loose.
@@davidsherrick898 I was wondering if there were any reviews? Not that I really care.

Got to love the daycare lergy
Get well Jody
That grey dial is very nice - great light play
Two beauties. Very unique date window on the Agelocer. I'm starting to become less leery of Chinese movements.

I laughed out loud each time you said "toad leather". The repetition is a key part of dad jokes. Well done!
That counterweight on the seconds hand looks like one-quarter of the patek-like logo. I kind of like it!
