We use black bananas to bake banana bread and banana pudding. The baked goods taste bad when you use fresh bananas or banana essence. There were worse things to complain about in that yard, but the bananas were fine. When you buy a blackened banana, it is not a mistake. You know what you are getting. The meat and other refrigerated items, on the other hand, can be a serious health hazard when the cold chain is interrupted regularly.

You buy fresh bananas and let them ripen at home for banana bread. That’s the proper way. Stores aren’t supposed to sell expired food or to store food OUTSIDE at improper temperatures. Bugs and rats crawl over food stored open and outside. Rats carry disease! These are the reasons this store owners practices are illegal and dangerous to people who buy his food.
