The Walabot® device effectively detects objects in the wall, including electrical wires, plumbing, conduit, and communication cables, using radar technology. This proprietary device, functioning as both transmitter and receiver, assigns identities to the objects it detects within the wall. Paired with the Walabot® app, the device provides comprehensive insight on your cellphone.
Walabot® is most effective with standard ½” gypsum board, commonly known as "drywall."
You can utilize the Walabot® in two modes: images and expert. The images mode offers visual representations of typical wall objects such as wood and metal studs, wires, and pipes. For studs, it provides centered lines for precise marking. The sensor remains dynamic, displaying any movement of the sensor or the object being sensed, such as a speaker cable, on your paired phone's display.
