seeing your moving process and how you have been processing it is so helpful to me and I'm sure so many others. im moving for the first time ever from where I've lived all 23 years of my life and im so excited for everything its going to bring, but its such a huge change and the adjustment is so unknown!
i know this was posted post-move but when you mentioned bubble wrapping your perfumes, i thought i’d mention - i always wrap my perfumes/plates/fragile things in clothes!! saves space + bubble wrap + uses things you were gonna pack anyways

This is becoming a comfort video I’ve watched it a weird amount of times hahah. I’d love to see an update now that you’re in your new home about products/items you’re glad you brought with, things you wish you did pack in suitcases, etc. 🥰 I am so curious what perfumes made the cut to be brought with you hahah. I'm a new subscriber. Starting following you because of your move ..transition from US to Scotland..my favorite country that I've never been to In the world. 😁🙃I appreciate your vlogs. The informative vlogs about the process to move there. Visas etc. And your packing process. This has been SO Insightful for me. I plan on moving there from the US in another years time ( work visa). I've already started the process, paper work on my end before I actual start the visa process. Also decluttering getting rid of things. I total love what you said at the very end..how you feel and that you will change as a person because it is a huge life changing move. I wish you all the best! May love and happiness continue to flow through your life with your hubby and in all you encounter in your lives. The actual move will be the final BIG stress. Once you are all there in Edinburgh, it will look like a huge heap of a move, but guess what? It will be a HUGE BIG sigh of relief..you all have arrived! Yay! My hubs (Scottish) and I (Canadian) are looking to go Canada to Scotland next year - busy saving up! The packing bit I'm a bit worried about. My husband legit could pack his entire "canadian life" in 1 big suitcase and I think if I wanted to bring everything i want it'll be at least 5-6+ suitcases haha. My mum has moved countries many times and her suggestion to me was pack what you LOVE unless you have and want to pay money for them. She's like if I packed your wardrobe you'd have half of it because you wear the same things over and over. You can always buy more! We'd also be travelling with our dog, too! It's so confusing the dog travel to UK. We've moved between US and Canada many times with dogs and never had this much confusion and extra-ness as going into UK with a dog.

Wow, totally relate about the wedding planning process. And I almost felt guilty because I would say "I don't care" to things and people would respond "Are you sure?? It's your dayy!!" and things of that nature, so it was hard. Almost like I had to pretend to care about things that I simply did not.
Mary could you please do a series or video with a deep dive into your visa process for Scotland? Im from New Zealand and my partner is English and we will be going through the visa process in the next year or so for me for the UK, i just want to hear as many experiences as possible! We moved from London to Abu Dhabi a few months ago, we had to pack our lives and say goodbye within 2 months. It was super stressful and mentally straining, I have PTSD just watching this video lol 😂😂
