UNDERTALE Yellow - Ceroba Genocide Boss Fight (w/ Cutscenes)

- Clover's rampage leads them to the Wild East, where they swiftly take out Starlo. However, the sheriff's dying words motivate his kitsune friend to carry out justice...
Very cool boss fight. I like how it's similar but still very distinct from her normal Pacifist fight. The max hp reduction gimmick is badass, though it thankfully didn't affect me too much.

i like how ceroba just runs up to you and starts beating you up immediately-
Ceroba does not fuck around
That's a childhood friend's rage
2:14
If I could change one thing in this scene, is that I would replace the last expression in the dialogue box, with the deadly glare Ceroba gave when she punched smiling monitor in the factory.
She only ever made that expression once in the entire game, and I think this scene would hit a bit harder if she give you that same deadly glare, and to give a better indication that she's about to snap.
Maybe the dunes and wild east were made in all routes before steamworks and they didn’t make that one yet but they could’ve gone back and changed it
Personally, the implication that she felt more rage at the screen AI than seeing her best friend fucking die is hilarious to me
Ceroba: w-why have you done this clover
Clover: ITS THE GENOCIDE ROUTE
Clover: I AM THE VENGANCE
Clover: What were their names?
Ceroba: Huh?
Clover: The humans who felled down. The humans that became stranded here. The humans your kind murdered. *What were their names.*
Ceroba: H-human Junior one to five?
Clover: *WRONG ANSWER!*
I find the pre-battle cutscene hilarious, because Ceroba goes from saying her final goodbye to a friend, to grief, to just running at a child and beating them up. And it’s the fact that the run and Creobas fight starting have like a second in between them that makes it even funnier. Also Clover just stands there, staring at her as she runs towards them, semi slowly.
i mean clover at this point just waits for opportunity to shot her down.
Guess not everyone could take an RPG seriously.
"Man this fight is tough, atleast im halfway there"
Ceroba: *Goes sicko mode*
That last bullet sequence before you won was flawless god damn. That is so freaking tight when its sped up, you have so little time to see what color it is to react to it, while also seeing what the flower setup is.
It's always the same order (however the phase 1 version has a different pattern to the phase 2 one)
@@XTLmakeri think there is also sound clue depending on the colour of explosion
i almost killed her there but the final fucking attack killed me
i've been trying to nohit her for a while and that's the easiest attack
i also memorized both phase 1 and phase 2 patterns
if you're curious what the patterns are reply to me
@@Kiwi19865 ph1: orange cyan cyan orange cyan orange

2:13 you can almost see the moment her eyes would just GLOW RED
Thank you for not skipping the dialog like every other channel does 👍
STARLO DESERVED A FIGHT.
Yup
I think, they should have make him shoot real bullet. But they decided to make us feel bad (like, what did he do on neutral amd pacifist runs?)
@@Dreamcrusher999 Ceroba should've taken the bullet instead of him, would've made more sense

Undyne: finally a worthy opponent!
I’m not exactly sure they’re on the same skill level, considering I believe Undertale Yellow’s fights are a lot harder than the original, but that would be interesting to see an actual fight between Ceroba and Undyne. Maybe Ceroba trying to get to the lab and Undyne stops her, saying it’s not allowed for other monsters to come in, and Ceroba gets so pissed she goes into her Sicko Mode and they have an awesome battle!
@@CrackerNDaisyOfficial To be fair. Meanwhile Ceroba's attack patterns are much harder than geno Undyne's patterns, geno Undyne deals literally 3 times more damage per hit, lasts at least 1-2 tour longer, and her attack with spears cricling around when you are in red soul mode is just nasty. I would say Undying is harder than geno Ceroba. To me the only UTY boss that is harder than Sans and geno Undyne are Zenith Martlet.
Still wondering why anyone would leave a gun right in front of town that a serial killer is coming to but whatever.
Was probably Starlo, for the duel
@@GamerJosh2611*dual

It would be funny as hell if the abobinal snow man walk in the back ground

Comedy gold

Back to lv 1 hp 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ceroba was already a pain in Pacifist.
Why is she worse in Genocide? Especially since has a laser that decreases your max health.
Because in the pacifist route, she didn't want to kill Clover, but she felt like she had to. In the Genocide route, she hates clover and is genuinely pissed at him
Doesn't give the devs an excuse to make an unfair and unfun encounter.
@@DeltaBlazin when the devs say that the game is harder than undertale and it actually is harder 😲
Isn't the whole point of the genocide route about making players feel bad by grinding and unfair/unfun encounters @@DeltaBlazin
I found it kinda fun tbh although yeah it is frusterating

This fight doesn’t look that hard, you just have to understand the patterns of the attacks and dodge
ohh you wished!!!!!!!
doesnt look so, but doing it is hard af
yeah ok bro
No shit
damn is this how I looked talking about sans?
You would think a gun would do more damage to a monster than just take 63 hp
Because this gun was made by monsters. Blackjack says that he purposefully made his guns "Less than lethal" since he didn't want anyone dying
Hey, do you understood the mechanic of the battle? Can you help me?
Why do we take damage out of nowhere at the 6:48? How do avoid it? This leaves me with only 3 max HP and causes me to die after.
It's frustrating me so much
in the second phase you can't touch the walls they drain your max hp
The bullet box walls will reduce your max hp
Clover got that trauma from every monster in Pacifist Route, so he did what every Americans will do. Self-defense, that's your fault Ceroba, should have never did a child abuse in Clover during pacifist.
She didn't do anything to Clover in the genocide route until she saw them kill her friend. It's not a prerequisite to do pacifist first lol
@@GlitchtaleLover that is because clover was not pure
@@crimdude Yes, killing a ton of monsters would certainly make you not pure.
Does anybody know exactly how to use the wild revolver, I had to switch to the toy gun because I was only doing 15
Just time the rings in the circle then it will go to the next circle
@@HyperTimeWaste ah thanks, ended up beating the fight with toy gun maybe I’ll try the wild revolver again
@@thechef9797 no way that must’ve taken forever
@@HyperTimeWaste It wasn't that much I also used toy gun because i wasn't able to use wild revolver in my first genocide route. She beat me around 17 times but i was doing more than 45 damage to her (she has 1000hp at max so the amount of hit required to defeat her for me is comparable to Sans fight) each hit. And like i'm not even some competent hardcore Undertale fan that beats Sans fangame fights with absurd patterns. I think outside of Zenith Martlet fight this game has a decently balanced difficulty.
1:11 HE DIDN'T PLAY BY THE RULES! OH MY GOD!😱
Hello, I don't know if you're going to see this but I need some help in this Boss, when the 2nd phase arrives (the red cane is put on) the maximum life starts to come down from nowhere without the lightning strikes, I am dodging and little by little it goes down and I don't know why, I look in the videos and I don't see it happening to anyone else, do you know why it happens?
Okay so basically, touching the sides of the box causes for your max hp to lower. Thats why it turns red- you want to avoid touching it at all costs.
The box becomes red
How do you dash? I cant seem to dash.
That mechanic doesn't unlock in Genocide until your final fight with Martlet, where it will be used to break through glass block that will head towards your soul.
@@ChibipieKaganespoiled the final boss bruh
@@ChibipieKagane could've just said you can't dash??? smh

I Beat ceroba in level 11
I dont understand, at second phase I somehow keep taking damage even if I dodge every attack, can someone explain?
I think it's because you touch the red lines of the box of where your soul is located? (I don't know how to explain honestly..)😮😮

Question
What is your defense and attack?
And is it possible im mobile?
Si
There is a mobile port on gamejolt
What is it with the genocide fights being absolute bullet hell?
@@CrackerNDaisyOfficial bosses in general seemed to be poorly tested
@@fandimadness Which is weird because during the credits, you can see a whole bunch of playtesters. So did they not test the boss fights?
That's the thing with geno it's hard on purpose. magine if geno ceroba and martlet were easy it would be anti climactic
@@agent8395 I’m pretty sure there’s a difference between a hard as balls Bullet Hell fight and a climatic fight. A fight doesn’t have to be hard to be climatic, in the original Undertale, the geno bosses were hard but they also felt fair and balanced, and they weren’t very climatic, at least to me. I’m not saying the Geno bosses aren’t good in UTY, they’re pretty cool, but they just don’t feel playtested.
@@CrackerNDaisyOfficial Geno Ceroba isn't harder than vanilla UT boss fights tho? Sure, her patterns are way harder and more difficult to dodge or memorize compared to these two, but the damage she deals is literally non-existent in comparision to Undyne and Sans. Not to mention with wild revolver you can kill her in 15 tour, meanwhile Undyne the Undying takes like 17-18 tours to kill and Sans takes 22. The only problem is her taking your max hp if red lasers hit you. Not to mention actual hard attacks of Ceroba comes after you already depleted half of her hp meanwhile Undyne and Sans are difficult from even the early attacks. In my opinion the only unbalanced fight in the game was Zenith Martlet.
3:37 this attack is bs. and phase 2 is also unfair

I see most people at level 11 at this point but me and you here is level 10. Whats up with that? I'm playing version 1.0 is that why?
That might be it
Nah i play in 1.0 and i am lvl 11 i just literally drained evwry monster. (I farmed every room)
I did an experiment. You can kill the optional minibosses and only the enemy that gives highest exp in every room and flee from the rest, then finish off the remaining 1 enemy in each area by getting double encounter. Doing this is guaranteed level 11 at Ceroba and 1 extra level at Axel. Very time consuming though.
@@albutttwait so it’s possible to be at level 13 naturally before clover gets so mad at axis that he gains 7 units of LOVE? Do you get leveled to 20 instead of 19 during that event❤️🔥?
@@concernedlego897 Yes I was level 13 at Axis doing this but the exp gap between 19 and 20 is purposely huge so no way.
The lines at the end of the fight are probably the best in the genocide route
