Custom coffee table

I built this coffee table and side tables in Cherry wood to the client’s specifications. It was finished with two coats of Rubio mono coat. #bespokejoinery #furnituredesign #woodworking

I'm a big fan of cherrywood and these are great tops. I have made a few tables in cherrywood and finished them with Danish oil but I will now give Rubio a try as it looks even easier to apply.

Hi David, I love working with Cherry. The finish on it is amazing. Rubio mono coat is a far superior finish to Danish oil. It lasts longer and repels water. I would apply two coats to get the maximum durability. Let me know how you get on with it.
