- What the hell should I do now?
- "Don't sink!"
- Yeah, thanks, I'm doing my best. Anyone else?
PULL UP! whoop whoop.
Oh crap I’m also struggling to float on the water aaaaaaaaaaa!
Sink Rate!!!
Bank Angle!!!!!!!
When they say “Don’t sink,” it’s useful because of the plane enters a storm or heavy fog they can only use their virtual horizon, so if it says “don’t sink” that tells the pilots to not go any lower.
"pull up whoop whoop" is actually my phone ringtone.
pull up whoop whoop is the scariest thing to hear if you follow airplane crash documentaries
aodflash that's scary
you know last time my phone rang in the worst possible moment... in a lift... when it goes down to ground floor... and all the people shocked... they thought it was the lift produce the warning sound...
it could... it happens a lot of time in Hong Kong...
well. you can search online. the cables could actually broke
Interesting how the "PULL UP!" voice sounds concerned about the safety of the plane.
No... they prob make it like that on purpose
No... well if you're a pilot and you hear the 'pull up' warning go off then you should be concerned .. very concerned
Terrain and pull up are my favourite sounds
karaolis g1 just in the outside of a plane
It sounds to me like it’s saying, “Bitch you better pull up unless y’all wanna die! Fucking pull up god dammit”
0:08 when i see another human in the store
"clear of conflict" is the best alarm out of all. hope some of the pilots who got to hear some of those frightening alarms had the chance to hear clear of conflict at last
Its for t-cas, where you will not collide
@@quep1 Yes, but only if abided by.

0:05 sounds really concerned
You should listen to the "WHOOP WHOOP PULL UP!!" alert from the early versions of the 747. The guy sounds both really concerned and scared.
"Dont sink"
Lol very helpful
As it is the same voice as the "Glide Slope" warning maybe it is the warning system to not sink to maintain in the glide slope.
It sounds right after takeoff/go around, because sinking right at ground level is very dangerous. And pilots must give their attention to other instruments as well, that's why there's a callout.
*[TERRAIN AHEAD! PULL UP!]*
yea
@@confusedstickmin7780 "mantain vertical speed, crossing maintain" is the longest egpws callout in history and is still marked that today

The "go around" voice sounds genuinely scared. 😂

@@rileytrombino351 *[TERRAIN AHEAD! PULL UP!]
The “Pull Up” will never be forgotten, and never be copied. It is too good
I love how when you don’t start climbing when TCAS tells you to do so It starts to raise its voice and sounds annoyed. “cLiMb CliMb NOW!”
I think the Climb Climb Now is actually when it previously advised you to descend. So it's contradicting an earlier order, hence the "now" part. IANAP
Of course, the worst of all is "Terrain! Terrain! Pull up! Pull up!". Pilots never want to hear this one, because it's often too late...
Hopefully, A380 pilots will never hear it.
I hope no pilot has to hear it outside of testing it on the ground. I know that hope will never actually be, and for some poor bastards it’ll be amongst the last things they’ll hear, but I hope for the best all the same.
With EGPWS it can warn you earlier based on GPS data. But yeah the earlier versions weren't helpful if you were flying into a cliff..
Nee dan ben je niet te laat , in 1989 ben je wel te laat dan heb je maar 7 seconden de tijd maar in 2006 is het al 40 seconden 🎉😎 . Alleen voor Bank-angle melding dat is wel om bang van te worden 😂
It is kind of scary how that autonomous voice can be the last line of defence in saving hundreds of people during a flight.
especially the very concerned sounding PULL UP
The beginning is a pilots worst nightmare
And ours...
Pilots and Passengers
The worst one is WHOOP WHOOP PULL UP!

from 0:00 to 0:08 he slowly gets uncomfortable and yells TERRAIN AHEAD!
It's intentional to make it seem more urgent to the pilot (as it is more urgent)
It's to stay less repetitive too
I was flying the new(-ish) Fenix A320 and the "Clear of conflict" is so relieving.
Imagine hearing these all go off in this amount of time mid-air...
0:10 He sounds very concerned when he says “obstacle ahead”
How many accents do you want?
Airbus: *YES*
I recall hearing some of these when I was a AA flight attendant up in the first class cabin jumpseat.
Why does a European aircraft have an American accent?
Those sounded like Posh accent
Mostly because it's an american GPWS/TCAS unit. There are only a few manufacturers of such kit and Airbus and Boeing buy them in from Honeywell (IIRC) - Both Boeing and Airbus use parts from all over the world from various subcontractors.
anyone knows the details of th person (man) behind these voice/s?
like we know the women who are 'Bitching Betty'?

the pull up is killing me everytime i hear it
WIndshear (3X) is definitely the best voice. That's the accent I want to hear moments before my tragic death.
Thanks goodness for the tiny dash Texan to warn you of mighty magic apache wind danger ahead.

The a380 has never been involved in a hull loss or a fatal acctident. Brilliant.

The A380's alerts are more relaxed. I prefer the Boeing 737 alerts, which are more frightening, especially the disconnected autopilot warning and the "Whoop whoop Pull Up!"
