Yes you can! It may take a bit longer, but that's totally an option.

I wasn't quite understanding about acrylic and laser engraving. Is that doable or fume-dangerous?
It's just the extruded acrylic that is a problem. Cast acrylic is totally fine and that's what any reputable seller is selling as laser-ready.
