It is rather funny how many people dislike comics and think reading then makes you bad, when you pretty much are watching the comics on the big screen with the MCU seeing many storylines being adapted with some edits. It is plain stupidity to hate on what helped create the MCU.

@Russ Filmz I believe it's because the bigger he is the more energy he needs to use to sustain that size. And given that the great hunger is upon him energy is not exactly something that's overly abundant at the moment

He is much more Powerful than Odin who put the enchantments on the hammer . Galactus can simply destroy it.
The Ultimate Alliance series takes place in a universe adjacent to the Ultimate earth. Mjölnir has no enchantment in that earth, and has the properties of a regular war hammer.
