I bought one of these as due to multiple hand surgeries, I no longer had the dexterity to thread my old overlocker/serger. It has been a game changer and such fun to watch those looper threads shoot out. I love it!

I love them... and they take threading one to a new level of use... one will never let it just sit in the, let's say "closet" because they are afraid of the past threading nightmare..... so happy you got this, and on sale... YEAAAAAAAAAAAA

Fascinating but complicated. I've never had a serger. They came on the market quite awhile after I started sewing. The first machine I used was a Singer treadle. First I used pinking shears to stop ravelling, then I got a machine that zig-zagged. WHEE! and I've zig-zagged ever since. It works. I've got 3 sewing machines that zig-zag and 3 that don't. Love your Janome. Call her Naoma a good old fashioned name for a modern lady.
