I actually think Atrioc might have been right. I don’t play a ton of connections, but usually with the red herrings, the red herrings can’t be equally valid answers for the same category that is the actual category. Like sure you can have 6 league champs on the puzzle, but the actual category should be something more specific that could ONLY apply to those 4 league champs. I’ve got DC on the brain right now so I’ll use that: Say you had Batman, Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, and Starfire on the board, the category can’t be “Members of the Justice League” because [Batman, Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman] is just as valid as [Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Batman] and therefore as a category it would be unfair because it’s just up to luck if you choose the correct combination. The category COULD be “non-human DC heroes” because the ONLY valid answer is [Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Starfire] TL;DR: A red herring shouldn’t be a valid answer for the correct category, it should mislead you into thinking there’s a category that doesn’t exist.

Of course he could have looked at other websites, etc., but the point is that your claim has no base. I'm not saying what atrioc did was good, just that misinformation is never a good way to spread awareness of something, good or bad.

Okay but Atrioc is right. The point of red herrings is supposed to make the player believe that there could possibly be a category that is different then the ones listed, other items shouldn’t be able to fit into category’s that already have 4 items.
This was such a great video. The concept, the highlights of funny moments together, etc. But their attempts were so lackluster.. if you do this again, I recommend the gambling hook. put something on the line and do it in person so they feel more obligated to one-take-jake it
