Just bought this today at a local shop. My first every RC anything. Drove it in the back yard. I am surprised how fast it goes in high gear. I am a 73 year old kid. I live in Phoenix, Very hot, 109 today. Have to wait til Oct to get out and play. Beautiful detailed unit. The store talked me out of buying the Arrma Kraton 6S. I am glad they did, this so much more manageable for my first car.
One cant stop aging, but we can stop ourselves from getting old. Cheers!

I love crawlers as you do not need wide open spaces and you can take them on walks!
And you’re not always breaking them!
And if you live somewhere with a bunch of hills, like me, you can test their abilities easily!

Never owned one but I am so into the new Bronco and since the TRX4 platform is supposedly good, think I'll be picking one of these up! I also want to get into the fast trucks like the slash but for now a crawler seems like good fun. Could take one on a hike and make it a bit more fun
I have recently decided to get into RC cars again. I was into it as a child (obviously a lot has changed) but now with a grandson coming of age over the next few years i thought this was something awesome he and I could get into. He just loves cars and trucks. After watching 3 or 4 videos now on this Bronco I am pretty certain this will be my first. Thanks for this video. As an Alabama football fan, red will be my obvious choice!

Traxxas really gives the people what they want, Matt did an awesome job on his review but I don’t think anyone goes as far in depth as you do Greg. Great work as always....beautiful rig on a tried and true platform that can take some serious abuse.
Traxxas won't speed things up and deliver the Blazer I've had on order since forever but they sure get these promos out to the UA-cam reviewers super quick. Seems like a slap in the face to buyers if you ask me.
It’s production line schedules. They’re not making Blazers every day or week or probably even every month with all the different cars they offer. It sucks not having your order but production schedules are planned long in advance. Hang in there, wish I had a Blazer in my collection. 🙂
see a whole lot less spare tire hang ups. Defender body is great looking and really adds to the scale driving requirement, even the 1st Bronco and the Blazer were better for performance.. this though.. wow.
AWESOME!!! I hope they come out with a 1/12 or 1/18 scale version. I would like something a little more portable, but this is very tempting!
If you haven't seen already, the TRX4m is coming out in about a week, it's a 1/18 scale.

The windshield wipers are so real, but the only thing is: It can be customize, with automatically with electronics. (A+)🏗️☕🔥🤨

I took a New Bright Bronco 1/6 body from Walmart and put it on my stampede. So yeah I had the first Traxxas Bronco😁

Awesome review as always, Greg. It sure looks good. And that clipless body mounting system is awesome! In a perfect world I would have loved to see a lighter tint on the windows with an interior and driver and also with the light kit installed. But still a cool truck for sure. Thanks :)

Gobsmacked, I have 7 TRX4's and it looks like it's going to be 8. I have two sports that I put Proline Gladiator Jeep body's on and then loaded them with scale stuff, One kit that has the 46' Dodge truck with half cage with scale stuff, one pieced together with 66' Chevy truck body, two more sports with one having the Traxxas camper body and the other fully scale loaded, one yellow Defender fully scale loaded.
It would be red and yes I am going to get one since I have the 72 and the 79 here we go Bronco fever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a lovely looking TRX4 body. Traxxas really did put in the effort and it shows. Look at the window wipers! Body tab locking system is a game changer!! Not sure when we will see them in the UK but I hope it's soon.
Beautiful Bronco body. I want this. After hearing all your enthusiasm for this truck, I want it BAD! The TRX4 is well established as a great platform, but I never really wanted one that bad. Driving my Axial 10iii JLU warmed me up to portal axles though. This Bronco body was just what the TRX4 needed to push me over the edge to "want" status. The price tag is significant though, so I won't be first in line to buy, but hopefully one day.
This looks soo good. I like my TRX collection and I have to add one of these too it. Love the clean clipless system.
Crap! I forgot to add. Clear windows are great, But they should have put an interior in it while doing this. Just my opinion and still excited.
This might be the first Traxxas crawler I'll buy. Aixal rigs always seemed more appealing to me in terms of scale looks, but the proportions of the new Bronco is just mesmerising! The first TRX4 rig to look scale enough it's believable if it were 1:1, rather than the oversized tyres of the previous TRX 4 models that made them look more monster truck than a lifted crawler. I do wonder though, if portal axles will make it just a bit too easy for trail crawling if it can clear so many obstacles.
I have a heavily modded trx4 defender with shortened wheelbase and metal gear servos and high torque servos. Different tires and wheels, different body and shocks. But I kinda want to get this just to have a new stock truck plus that body is very nice.
Modded trucks are cool, but there’s something about wheeling a new stock rig too that’s just fun.
And one more thing: if (Traxxas) make more color (Bronco) bodies, my favorite is (black/orange) that's a power move for climbing energy!😉😎

@@odys3803 The (YELLOW) means for slow crawling,and yes it's their first color, like the real 2021 version bronco,hopefully for aftermarket in the future.

After your review of this Traxxas 2021 bronco I had to get one! I bought the red just awesome looking I also bought the winch I wanted to get the light kit also but my hobby shop was out ! So anyway your review of all the models I like is what helps me make my decisions! You do it like no other I trust what you say and how you display the model so once again keep up the great work love your show I hope Traxxas comes out with more performance parts for this truck!!

Last year, I was on a hunt for the orange Blazer. Came out empty, but glad it did! Cyber yellow it is! Or what ever my lhs has in stock😁

This truck looks so much more capable than the stock TRX4 Defender. I fell like running it with a low CG battery tray is going to make it damn near unstoppable.
Maybe it’s just been a long time since I drove a stock TRX-4 but wow, this was pretty impressive right out of the box.

Great job on the video. I just did a low CG Brazin conversion on my TRX4 Sport so I need a dedicated trail truck and this is in the top running. I wish they made a kit version less electronics but with that body

Great review man! And awesome running section! I got a chance to drive this truck around out in Moab a bit a few weeks ago... you're 100% right, it's A BLAST TO DRIVE! and i can't articulate why. Like you, i've driven TRX4 in all it's different configurations 100s of times and this truck just feels more fun. For me I think its easier to slip into that scale world in your mind with the clipless body mount, maybe the rigidity of the body? idk. Anyways, thanks for the great vid!
How did it perform compared to the sport? Handling wise. The sport isn't as top heavy as the defender but how's this?
Theirs nothing about a preferred brands or others, it’s just the scales of this thing, it’s fabulous, I have a defender and bought it right at/the beginning, when nobody had one, and it was back orders everywhere so I had to wait a bit, and when it arrived, I was stunned with the look then the big Bronco black with the yellow/orange strips was 😍 then the old Blazer 😍 now this one 🤯🤯🤯 , damn I don’t have the budgets for it, but I wish I had one of each, even if they’re kind all the same thing , some will say, just have to changed the body !!, I know but it’s now the same I would like to see all of the going at it in the dirts and rocks. 😍😍😍😍 it always gets better and better. 😍😍

Dude, really good video review, sadly i dont like Traxxas but this rig is a game changer, it just looks like they have taken a 2021 Bronco and zapped it down to 1/10th, the only other traxxas i like is the old school Ranger Bronco, now if i could afford one or the other i would struggle to decide which one to buy-new or old, yeah this is a winner, thanks for detailed review

The Bronco looks slightly narrow and lower cab than the Defender and less weight up high. Great video 👍

I really like the body clip idea, and nailed it for the body, but hate to have a BUT, come on keep it scale lose the rear portals for stock axles along with about time they did an independent front suspension for those models that for 1-1 true scale looks, it surprised me that FORD did not insist on this to be scale, hey they went all out on the UDR so they can do it. On the subject of the UDR anything on using the platform for a buggy, maybe Super Stadium Truck would be good, and that body clip idea could transfer to the UDR platform. But the BRONCO has got my attention maybe this one is the trail driver I want. Was looking at the Senduro range.
this is a great spot for crawling, great video and it looks like it tackles the tough stuff with aplomb right out of the box! did you have a big center battery or go with small one up front for this run?
