Creating triangles on a football pitch is a well known practice, that can have fantastic results. Triangles enable teams to move the ball in multiple directions, with players creating space for one another and third man runs becoming harder to defend.
This drill is continuous, with the players following their passes, and enables the team to complete 6 different triangle passes in just one rotation.
Be sure to modify the dimensions to best suit your team!

What are the dimensions of the cones from each other (outer diamond 15m and 2 center cones 5m apart?)
And then what are the key focus points to ensure smooth ball flow?

      Thanks for asking!
The outer diamond I normally go with 20x20 to start, with the center cones 5 yards apart. The extra space is helpful for the players to figure out the drill, but it still flow even with some beginning mistakes that might happen (wrong pass, wrong run etc.)
For ball flow - honestly keeping the drill bigger than expected helps a lot. I would keep the drill large and slow for a session or two, then revisit with it smaller and look for tighter passing. The flow comes easily once the players understand the rotation.
      Hope that helps!
