@@LeftyEDC it is hard and excellent against corrosion but scratched usually from the factory. I dropped my Clydesdale in the couch and Holly hell was the blade scratched bad lol
14C28n is an excellent budget steel made by Sandvik; its original application was for face razors because it takes a keen, super sharp edge with thin stock. But I wouldn't say that it's ever labeled as a "harder" steel. In fact, 14C has a recommended HrC by Sandvik on their website for 56-59 HrC which isn't necessarily a highly hardened composition by any means. If the blade is satin that could be a factor as to why it's scratching noticeably.

14c is so hard why does it scratch up so easily? Mine are all scratched to hell. I can’t wait to get the button lock Fenrir in November
