Everyone saying it sounds like old-school weezer, this song is a rework of a song was written back during the Pinkerton Era called Hello, Concubine
Only the verse, right? and even that, "Hello, Concubine" is not known to have been demoed. Rivers just happens to remember how that song goes.

It also sounds like Time Is Running Out from Make Believe era
Rivers does this every album. I think that people are saying it sounds like "old Weezer" because of the sonic elements: the guitar, his voice, lack of synths and samples, etc. Notice that there don't seem to be samples like on some of the latest (black) albums. There is no rapping. These Sznz albums are the polar opposite of Ratitude or the Black album.
Well I wish they would get back to work making new old school sounding music.

I have liked all the SZNZ releases. My previous favourite was Summer. However, this is just spectacular, like, I absolutely love this. I remember when EWBAITE came out and I could not contain my love for that album. I still do. But as always with Weezer they strike you with something just that little bit more special. Never stop Weezer, you give me so much more than you will ever know.
