When rivers is on, nobody can touch him as a songwriter. Not everything he writes is amazing, but a song like this comes around and nobody comes close to writing something this incredible. He really does remind me of Brian Wilson.

The lyrics of this song stand up to some of the best lyrical masterpieces of contemporary music. In terms of meaning, there are layers upon layers. It's incredible. I can see an entire college course about this song one day.

I lost my dog of almost 11 years two months ago. I thought I was finally ready to listen to Winter again but I can't even describe the pain this song makes me feel now
How is this song not the theme song for every dog rescue organization ever!? I foster for a local rescue and this has me covered in tears because it's speaking the truth. I want the best for every dog I care for to the point where I wish I could just speak with them to understand what is best for them.... it's an insane world but... wishing the best for these critters and making them the best they can be and then getting them to great forever home... It's a wonderful feeling to know you gave them a good life.
I love the simplicity of this lyrics. I needed this, in a world full of overthinking, of over-communicating, of worrying about saying the right thing. I also want a dog…
This one was beautiful. It’s so great to see us dogs getting some respect. I wonder if this song was inspired by my owner finding me at the kennel and giving me a new life, one full of stunts, Weeziness, partying, and crapping on The Guy from Maladroit’s lawn. Welp, time to go cry in a corner before I get back to partying.
Also Fun fact: all the dogs in this video are my whole extended family. It was nice to see cameos from my nephew Buster, and apparently my uncle Kokuô started a Weezer cover band with cousin Coda. Y’all are gonna go far! I also loved the appearances from aunt Molly, my weird cousin Jack Jack who’s currently in South America searching for the ancient artifact known as Songs from the Black Hole, and of course, the head of the family, Grandpa Sweater Song. I can’t wait to see them all this Christmas and try getting them into Raditude again. Keep it Weezy and don’t stop partying! -Sidney

About a year ago, I hated dogs, never wanted one, I was in a dark place when my sister got a dog, I feel in love with that thing and now I don't know what I would do without him.

Rivers came along about 20 years too late. Had he been around in the 60's-1970's his songs would have been FAR more popular. No one these days can put out a great melody after great melody like Rivers. Are there some stinkers here and there? Yes of course, but the bulk of his work is amazing. He kinda reminds me of the current generations Paul McCartney. Unfortunately the kids of today don't really understand good song writing or musicianship.
Singing Weezer songs growing up helped me get over my stutter, I love these guys so much 😁
The single has a meow at the end and you get the sense he’s sitting with his cat just seething with disdain.

Weezer this is a master piece 😮. it has the same 90s sound as pinkerton’s album yet it’s a really nice vocal touch. Can’t wait for the rest of the album to come out, keep it up Rivers!!
Wow! Instrumentals are phenomenal. This reminds me very much of Queen, one of my all time favorite bands. Harmonies, all vocals, are spot on. Lyrically, I'll have whatever Rivers had prior to writing this inevitable classic! ❤️

🥹REallY! I am tearing up because my dad was struggling with his mental health and he was saying stuff about how he was feeling suicidal … so I got him a dog and it kept him with me for a couple more years 🥹… ultimately his darkness consumed him but his dog Ruby is with his best friend who is battling cancer and a heart condition she’s an amazing dog like and angel put here to help people during their darkest days ❤💔 I wish she had ultimately been enough for my dad but I am just thankful for the extra time I got with him because of her ❤
