Luton had no right to get promoted to Premier League and stay on the fringes of safety (17th/18th) for as long as they have despite lack of quality and injured players in their squad. Brilliant manager.
Couldn’t agree more. As a neutral, watching Luton has been fantastic. They play better football than some of the top 10 teams, unfortunately they’ve been unlucky at times and inexperienced. They only lose games usually by 1 goal.
If Luton do get relegated it won't be the end of the world for them. Look at the positives - They would have had a season where their supporters were able to watch world class footballers in action and they should also have millions of pounds in the form of parachute payments with which to regroup. That's a lot better than not having been promoted in the first place.
Without the crazy injuries after Christmas I believe we were good enough to stay up
Survival or relegation everyone has Luton on the radar now. With Rob Edwards at the helm I am more than confident that we will bounce back quicker than most think
Especially with the parachute payments
it must be so wierd when your in the prem on tv all the time loads of interviews etc, get relegated everyone forgets about you (apart from your fans)
Nobody forgets any club who’s been in the prem
That's true but as a Pompey supporter and speaking from experience, if you're struggling in the Premier League you don't always want any coverage and sometimes rather they would forget you.
Not really they going to have parachute payments in the championship for three seasons
Nope if you are only up for one season you get 2 seasons payments as I understand.
If Luton want to compete they need squad depth and a bigger stadium + better facilities. But they still got to enjoy the top flight and hope they return soon.
Bournemouth can do it with small facilities we are doing well so this comment is wrong
@@user-ss8xw8bn9t Luton are competing in the top flight with a 12,000 capacity season, no experience of the top flight, a small squad and bad facilities.
Bournemouth have an 11,007 capacity stadium yes but you have a bigger squad and more experience of the top flight. You know the teams that constantly play in the prem and know how to beat them Luton don't
That is the difference between Bournemouth and Luton.
Stick to motor racing
@@paullane5297 Don't tell me what to do.
@@Hamilton8timeChampion don't you think Bournemouth had that at some point we had rubbish everything it's excuses
If I was not a Nottingham forest fan I would love to see Luton town stay in the Premier League.
i wolves fan and i like luton. But they need a bigger stadium and better squad depth if they want to compete in this league.
@Hamilton8timeChampion your wrong Bournemouth??? 😂
@@Hamilton8timeChampionclown😂
Only in with a chance due to the points deduction
Forest should have followed rules
He's a good manager but unlucky
Well it's Mathematically impossible for Luton to survive
Literally though they would like need to beat Fulham by 12 or more goals and for Nottingham Forest to lose to Burnley...
Yah it's safe to say they're relegated
i say 0.1 percent chance of them surviving
@@Hamilton8timeChampion If that were to happen which is unlikely I would become a Luton Town Fan
@@GreatestThanks Yes 0.1 percent is unlikely but west brom survived having been bottom of the final day
@@Hamilton8timeChampion Guess anything could happen
@@GreatestThanks Yes it could and Luton just need it to go to goals scored and they survive.
They've done a remarkable job, it almost imposible with the money the established prem teams have. Hope Forest goo down because of all their whining.
Nope
Looks like Forest are staying up pal.
Whining? Lots of dodgy decisions go against them throughout the season and still they battled on with a very loyal fan base.
One of the worst Teams along with Sheffield United to play in the premier league Everton gave you an 8 point head start and finished 14 points above you Blackpool fc the best team ever to get relegated IMO
Blackpool u silly man how’s your Blackpool mates mr aspden
Luton were not one of the worst - they competing in the top flight for first time in 30 years and yet they got more points than Southampton did last season. The team has done well to fight this long.
Luton are so much better than Sheffield United as the Sheffield players give up when they concede goals and Luton fight till the end.
They haven’t went down yet? Such a negative interview am I missing something?
If they lose one more point they will, quite relevant
He’s being realistic. Football is a business as well as winning football games.
are they not?
They have to score 12+ goals against forest, what in the world how you even do that
@@r3zaful i mean they probally beat fullham 13 0 but forest beat burnley
You'll still beat Watford hold your heads up lads
Burnley will b bk 100 points watch and learn and stay up mr aspden
