*DISQUALIFICATION!!*
One of our eagle eyed viewers noticed the Alta 1900MMK had a GVWR exceeding 7500lbs. Obviously I overlooked this fact
Meaning we have a change in the rankings!! Graduating from honorable mention to its rightful place on this list we have the Imagine 17MKE!! m.ua-cam.com/video/2rdKOcY_1oY/v-deo.html
Can handle a bendy bed, but I has to be 80 inches long
No worries, Josh. I'm still researching.
Hey Josh! Loving these top 5 list videos. I was wondering if you'd be willing to do a top 5 travel trailers for boondocking. Obviously there's the Embers, but I think it would be interesting to see a list of trailers comparing their solar packages, holding tank capacities, hot/cold packages, off road capabilities, durability etc.
Yay for the Cougar MLS. It is a tough model to beat. Theatre seats and a dining table, huge kitchen/counter space and high ceilings in just a 22 foot trailer. It's a winner!
22mls is the one for us. We've been RVing for 20+ years and based on what I've seen in videos, I wouldn't change a thing. At first I 2as thinking table and chairs but that dinette size and storage maybe where we land. I enjoy your videos and truthfulness. You are a huge asset to Bish's and the RV industry. Thank you Josh.
I agree with you Josh. I got my 22Mls this spring and so far even if we did have prior 2 amazing fifth wheel, this trailer track behind a half ton like a charm and the layout for a couple (even for a long trip) is perfect.
Thanks Josh for narrowing down our search for a couples camper, take care!
This is great! Cannot wait for your top 5 BH list in this weight range too! Really appreciate your efforts👏🏼👏🏼
Love this weight class. My favorite that is in this range missed by 100 lbs but the crossroads volante 29rb has everything I want and will fit nicely on the back of my 1/2 ton at a max of 7600
This is MY #1 video from you! Nailed it ,JTRVN!
Wow ty
I love the rear kitchen design on that Cougar 22MLS. It works because the kitchen is NOT the center of the RV. When we’re camping, cooking is not a top priority so having the kitchen out of the way makes more room for lounging and relaxing.
Separately, there is another camper you recently reviewed which I really liked - it’s the MPG 2100RB. It certainly has its weak spots, but overall I think it’s massive bang for the buck… virtually everything is standard equipment, even a king sized bed…
Josh & team, Thanks for continuing to provide a great service to RVers. I really like how you put together these top 5 lists. It seems to be a greatest hits list with something for most everyone (is it better for boondocking? Bed size / murphy, suspension, overall construction, price, towability, logical floorplan…). For me 2205S is probably #1, helped by the Max Power option in ‘23. From afar, the Ember is promising if the sofa is comfy, but counter space is not great in the kitchen or the bath…what they could do with an additional 2’. The 22MLS probably has the best floorplan and it’s my better half’s #1. I’ve been in an inTech Terra and love that it doesn’t have a slide and doesn’t feel too cramped. Looking forward to Hershey.
Enjoy! Safe travels
We picked up our 2205S Rockwood in March and loving it. Just the two of us and our English Cream Golden Retriever!
Thanks so very much for getting this video done. I am going to definitely do the longer videos of each one.
Enjoy!!
We liked the Cougar, but ended up going with the Grand Designs Imagine XLS 23LDE at the Hershey RV Show this week. We think it’s an awesome layout and my wife loved the rear kitchen setup. Looking forward to picking it up in about a week.
Congratulations, Christopher! I haven't been able to get my hands on one of those yet but hear it's pretty fantsatic
Just found the channel as I am looking for an RV or trailer. GREAT INFO!! Thank you so much.
Ty Rick! We have literally thousands of videos for you!!
Thanks, Good info as usual..
Great video Josh. You always do a great job. I like the Cougar 22mls too.
Ty
Thank you. Totally where I’m looking.
Happy to help!
Well I gotta say the Cougar 22MLS is still my overall favorite but a Winnebago you showed in this video is really good to and comparable, the Cougar 22MLS
Has the things I want decent queen bed excellent rear kitchen and bathroom plus full time camping nails it for me😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love Keystone Cougar but I like the mid kitchen with the counter bar
I love the Cougar 22MLS
We have a Rockwood 2205s, 2021 model. That was before they added the solar on the roof and the 12v fridge, otherwise the same. We are loving it. The quality of the build is very good. Love all of the storage space in convenient places. Have been living in it for 6-7 months a year the past two years. We tow with an F 150. Generally no concerns but on long or steep hills there is a little less power than we’d like at times.
Such a good model. Continues to be overwhelmingly popular today
Great review. This is just the size I am looking to get into. Can't wait for the same size with bunk layout. Still not sure which way to go (grandkids on the way!)
There is something about the Rockwood I really like. But that cougar is really nice as well. I think I would be happy with 3, 2 or 1.
Great summary! After about a month of research you have listed the trailers that I listed (with your help, thanks.) The Alta and the Cougar are too heavy for me, but they are nice rigs. Personally narrowed my search to Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S or Coachman Freedom Express 192RBS or Grand Design Imagine XLS 17 MKE. After this video I will look at the Winnebago 2108 TB as well. I started this journey with an eye on Airstream Caravel or Flying Cloud 23FB, but up front cost cannot be ignored. As soon as I get my trailer back from the shop I will begin the search for a specific model and talk trade, etc. Thanks again!
My pleasure John! Glad to be of service
We have seen these trailers. Our only problem is which one to choose. We could go bigger but putting it in our backyard would be nearly impossible. The 22 to 25 foot size is doable, but I would need a helper. Thanks for all your info on these trailers. We are going to the Hershey RV show next month.
Glad you did this weight class. Exactly where I am looking. Still looking though.
Great video!
I enjoyed your picks.
Ty!!
Great video, Josh you are my go to guy
TY ALvin! :)
👏👏👏👏for making your viewers happy
Ty James!
I like #1, 2 and 3.
Love, love, love our 22 mls! We have the dinette. Works for us.
This was awesome
Thank you!
I would like to see a top 5 bunk beds in the same range of weights. Thank you for your videos
We’re about to take delivery on a Mini-lite 2507S with a Murphy bed and dinette. We looked at probably a hundred+ models in the past few years and kept coming back to that one. The storage was one of the deciding factors since we plan a few long trips (and my Wife likes to pack for every eventuality!) and it had about the best outdoor kitchen of any model in that size range and outdoor cooking is big for us. We also wanted a good sized dinette as well as decent day seating and it gives us both.
Ah congrats Robert!! Great model!!
I have a 2018 Freedom Express 192RBS and it has just been the perfect little trailer for me. The newer ones are even better as far as space utilization is concerned. I'm one of those that got their second trailer the first time around.
Yes! 🙌🏻
That’s the goal!!
Ok, my camper would be about 190 lbs out of this category. Still waiting to get a video and hear Uncle Josh's thoughts. Transcend Xplor 245rl with triple recliner sofa instead of the dinette. We love it, great couples trailer that fits us great, especially since our boys are at a point in their lives where they are no longer camping with us.
Haven’t been able to see one yet but I haven’t seen a transcend I haven’t liked
I love the cougar ❤ keystone is great my camper lasted !!! I want anther keystone this time a Cougar
You Sir, are the best in the business. thank you for your informative and very "you" videos.
Wow, thanks!
We love our 2022 Keystone Cougar 25rds. Wish the nose cap did have 2 cracks though.
I like! Somehow I guess I missed the Winne video. Thanks!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching
Josh, your videos turned us on to the Cougar 22mls. We got to see one in person and it really does feel huge and airy inside. Now, we're just waiting to be able to purchase a tow vehicle (strange times)! Great videos! Thank you!
Yeah I am due for a car update but man.. it just seems like a hassle going down that road right now
@@JoshtheRVNerd It really is, but we have no choice because we don't have anything that can tow and haul a bunch of dogs in crates. Luckily, we're not in a hurry right now.
Sir, you hit on my top 2 manufacturers here, winnebago and east/west...while i still prefer a door between the bedroom and rest of the camper, and i realize none of these this have it, i do like the fact that the cougar gives both a booth dinette and other seating as well whereas the others do not...not everyone wants to sit at just the dinette, as its hard to relax in one. all in all Sir, very well thought out picks, and very well appreciated by this viewer as well as others i'm sure. Thank You
This Winnebago might work for you!
m.ua-cam.com/video/wghqn_dTj6U/v-deo.html
@@JoshtheRVNerd I Sincerely Thank You Sir, but while I love winnebago for the way they treated my family in the past, they sadly have priced themselves out of this mans pocketbook. No, I believe my next, and at my age, my last rv will indeed be an east/west. They are in my price range, I have found 2 models I am tossing back and forth. Are either perfect, no. Will either work for me, yes. Do i wish east/west offered outside kitchens and sinks, yes. Can I live without one...at 62, I can live without any luxury anymore, haha. East/west has the quality build of more expensive campers but are still at an affordable price even in today's economy. I just need to find out what they use for flooring, as I hate saggy floors a year after buying, and then decide on which one...then make a phone call, then a trip to your home store. Because it wont be east/west that should get the commission, nor the salespeople whom I am sure are great people...no, Sir, after all the great info you put out on a daily basis from not just your home store but from other stores literally across this nation, sacrificing time away from your family to help us, your internet rv family out, the sale should rightfully go to you. Thank You again for the clip on the Winnebago, your time to find and send that is Greatly appreciated by me, Thats for sure.
Josh, LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!! And I agree 1,000% on your #1 rated travel trailer. This is a very close winner for us for our next travel trailer. Are you going to Hershey this year?
Originally it sounded like I would be out there, but some thing fell through and I don’t believe I’ll be able to attend this year sadly
Hey Josh...really like that Cougar! I love the kitchen placement and all the counter space. Too bad that the EW Alta was disqualified because that trailer ran a very close 2nd place for me. As always...love the side by side comparisons you do!
Imagine 17 MLE is fantastic in it’s own right
Hi Josh, great video and we love our 2022 Micro Minnie 2108TB. The only complaint is the dinnette on the slide is about a 1ft step up which is not good for all campers. We wish we had the water saver feature which would give a little more time on the small 25 gal grey tank. The storage above and below the beds is crazy how much stuff you can fit.
The FLX edition has some of those extras like the water saver. Glad your TB is treating you well
I liked #5 the best of this group. Also, I went and looked at some Embers a couple weeks ago (a dealership opened here!) and really liked the one with the removable bunks and big flip open door with the screen. That was an ideal place to set up a desk. But the price....uffda. LOL!
Uffda! hahaha
That tells me all I need to know about your region!
bit.ly/3LzHide is my video of that one. I got exclusive early access to it when they were finalizing some things
Great choices. I love Cougar’s, need to see this 22MLS in person. Also, I need to look closer at the East to West. I wasn’t real impressed with the first one I saw but you videos are making me consider them. But I still love my Rockwood.
I have actually been pleasantly surprised by east to west. On the surface they look like another “me too” brand. But the Morrissey of them more I like
Awesome video! My wife and I are currently looking at trailers in this exact range! So far, the Cougar 22MLS is our favorite. Both Grand Designs that you had in the Honorable Mentions we liked and are on our potential buy list as well as the Rockwood. We will have to check out the other models you have listed!! I wish you were closer so we could be your customer!! Keep up the great videos!!
If you haven't yet, look at the Grand Design 22LDE
First comment… It’s worth the drive, no matter how far. We drove up from Ga., still saved major bucks and got their amazing services. Their inspections, walk through, and prep are light years ahead of anything we’ve heard about from other owners.
Second comment… Noticed your screen name. My uncle retired from Argon, assuming that is the source for your name.
Third comment… Love the Cougar as well. This floor plan wasn’t in production when we were in the market. We went with a Winnebago 2500FL for the private bedroom.
@@GaryBrownrigg We haven't looked at that one yet, just looked up the floorplan, I like it! I will add that to our "must look at" list! Thanks for the suggestion!
My pleasure. We're in a toss up between the 22MLS and the 23LDE, too. It may come down to the closed off bedroom, bigger bathroom, and more storage beside the queen bed. But damn, that Cougar comes with a lot of extras!
@@kenhagerman1301 Honestly, I would make the drive from Idaho for the right price. I don't work at Argon but at a different facility out here in the Idaho National Laboratory.
We had a 2021 17RBHL that was just over 5000lbs. It was very similar to the Alta. Long counter on campside wall and tv across from theater seats. Murphy bed that gave an additional seat option when not using bed. My opinion, the 17RBHL would be on my list 😁.
It’s a great model but unfortunately I haven’t had the opportunity to get some updated footage of it over this past year
2205 rockwood is the sweet spot 3ft shorter and 700#s lighter than the 22 mls, makes a big difference. love the winnie but the 7 foot wide deal breaker. 1extra ft is noticable
Especially with a lot of time in them
great video
Glad you enjoyed it
I know it's over by 100 lbs, but the trailer that's really impressed me this year is the Northern Spirit 2252MD. Add a ladder and this is just the best combination of features overall.
I bet they adopt that removable ladder mount a lot of brands are going to
Great info! I really enjoy and appreciate your reviews. Do you have a top 5 couples 1/2 ton RVs with 'true' outdoor kitchens?
I don't think I have something quite that specific. Sorry
But this is the first one to come into mind
► Freedom Express 252RBS: ua-cam.com/video/vUER4DQ18Oc/v-deo.html
Also considered this one:
► Rockwood 2507S: ua-cam.com/video/kNiJE5V8nCQ/v-deo.html
And now I'm thinking of this one:
► Rockwood 2513S: ua-cam.com/video/dtFpZk0nWug/v-deo.html
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thank you!
Just bought a Minnie Winnie 2630 MLRK it is heavier at 6300 dry and 8800 wet 602 on the hitch. 60 gal fresh and 150 gal in grey and black tanks. Solar panel on top but interior is sweet t recliners and a pull out table and 2 chairs stored. check it out we fell in love with the layout.
I really like that model. Great righ
Alta 1900MMK and Cougar 22MLS are in my top favorites as we are shopping for our first RV. Others on my list are two of your honorable mentions Grand Designs 17MKE and 22MLE (my two favorite layouts in almost anyone who does them. The counter space gets me every time.) I also like the Grand Design Transcend Xplor 200MK (w theater seats) even though I kind of don't like how limited the seating is, it has that counter with the spot for the coffeemaker. LOL My honorable mention would not be actually fair, since it's actually a 2023 model...and I know you have said you have a video coming out on it. The Jayco Jay Feather 21MML. You did a little overview on it in your SNEAK PEEK at Jayco's 2023 Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels video. I am in love with that thing and cannot wait to get to actually see one in person. Thanks for doing this one, I really enjoyed it! These are my favorites as I am wanting to be able to get into pretty much any park and tow with something that isn't terrible as a daily driver. Again, great video, and thanks for doing these compilations!
I feel like people are going to think I don't like imagine or something. I totally do. Both of those models are outstanding but both HAPPENED to get nudged in my book by something similar (that frankly basically copied their layout in the first place)
Jay Feather 21MML video coming to you THIS SUNDAY by the way!! :)
@@JoshtheRVNerd I totally don't think you dislike Grand Design!!!! For instance Cougar is just a fancy Grand Design I feel like sometimes! Cougars for me are just a little bit heavier...is that often true when they are similar floor plans or am I making that up? ...And the cost just is not worth it for me for what I would use an RV for...if that makes sense. Even at that, the 22MLS is on my list!!! I will keep my eyes open for Sunday! LOL Thanks for the tip!
The Cougar 22MLSWE (Western Edition) has 38 gallon holding tanks, vs 30 gallon holding tanks for the Eastern Edition. Now that you're part of the Bish family, the Western Edition should be readily available to those of us who live west of the Mississippi.
And certainly it is!!
Cougar MLS yes ! , I prefer the booth dinette , if the grandkids come along or I loan it out to my kids , they have sleeping arrangements for the children .
I agree with all your choices except I would have chose the 17mke as it's alot lighter, and I feel the 2511s rockwood would have been a nicer choice then the 2205s, but thats my opinion, too many to choose from lol👍👍
My lean to things like the 1900mmk over the 17MKE and the 22mls over the 22MLE are EXCEPTIONALLY close and you won’t hear me argue if someone likes them
2511s is solid for sure. I don’t mind open sleeping in a small couple’s model so that true queen in the 2205 nudged it up for me
That’s just me though
Would love to see top 5 half ton towable bunkhouse/office/family models.
Grand Design 17MKE was it for us 100%! We didn't want to pull over 22 feet and the storage is The best!!
Pound for pound it’s beastly
Can you do a review of the different keystone outback family camper's . Would enjoy to hear your view on them .
I don’t get to encounter them regularly sadly
But they’re a super close cousin to the cougars I do get to record regularly
The Cougar 22MLS is my favorite.
Great pick!
I like the booth dinet
Really would like to see you get into the keystone passport SL 229RK. It’s 5200lbs dry/7200lbs loaded and it’s laid out similar too the 22mls but has a wall to privatize the bed instead of the curtain for shadow puppets.
It’s a fantastic model for sure. Obviously similar to the 22mls Cougar that I really like, but with a private bedroom
Josh- thanks for your video's and reviews. Got a specific question; I like the Rear kitchen layout RV.s but I'm also very tall. 6'5" and am looking for a trailer that is used, (not older than 2017) due to some financial limitations, but wanted to get your input on what would be a good RV for a tall couple, and be under 7500lbs, with a rear kitchen, and prefer and outdoor kitchen / set up in addition. I know that's a big ask. But would appreciate your reply.
Man when you’re in the used market it’s kind of a grab bag
A few a little taller to maybe hunt
Freedom express
Salem and wildwood
Jay flight
Catalina
Taller still
Eagles
Reflection
Love the cougar question can you get the swmls at your location?
Sorry - swmls?
Are you asking about western edition? We could, but there’s a great deal of extra factory shipping involved. We could also get you in touch with one of our stores like the ones in Idaho they already carry the western edition cougars to cut a bunch of that out
Almost got to the end and was disappointed mine wasn't on the list. Then it's cousin showed up. I have the Keystone Outback 221UMD, love it! I'm going to steal that shoe cubby idea in the dinette.
I could be wrong as I am operating from just memory here shortly after waking up, but isn’t that basically just the same as the cougar that I have on this list? Outback and cougar are very close cousins in the Keystone lineup
About 98% of it applies to one also applies to the other
@@JoshtheRVNerd yes it's the same plan as the cougar
@@JoshtheRVNerd Yes, same layout. So I was happy to see it listed.
Thanks for the videos, I spend probably too much time watching them, but they are so informative and entertaining!
It's also nice to see what they have improved on, especially if I can add it to the one we already have.
Still the Cougar. Being tall and the wife and I aren't as skinny as we used to be, the King Bed pushes an already attractive, well laid out travel trailer, well beyond any of the others.
I am still pretty sweet on that one too
great video Josh thanks! can i ask about the AURORA 24RBS its a a shade longer then most of these but is the same weight class. I noticed that AURORA isn't on many videos. I trying to understand where they are in the line up its like a wolf pup black ed i feel?
Aurora he’s literally just a Catalina wrapped up in a different cosmetic exterior skin package. If you pull their websites up side-by-side, then I think you’ll see what I’m talking about
I believe it’s a private label for a specific dealer group which is why you don’t tend to see them covered in video very often. The good news is you can simply watch any of my Catalina videos to get the same info
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thank you so much Josh. I was confused that they are common here in columbus ohio but not on youtube. That's because its the local chain dealer that has them. I was on forest river site and wanted to know what other brand had the same floor plans. they are just good looking packages for less then a Winnebago or rockwood/flagstaff.
That cougar trailer looks really good....lots of windows and plenty of kitchen counter....a rolling studio apartment....bedroom privacy not an issue for a couples trailer....
I tend to agree. TY
How about doing a review on the Imagine Grand Design 22 rbe 82 gallon gray tank private front bedroom huge bath
I am 100% willing - just haven’t been able to get my hands on one yet
Can’t wait to see how the Jayco 21MML stacks up this next year!
Guess what?
Tomorrow you’ll get that wish!!
@@JoshtheRVNerd 🤯🤯🤯
What do you think about the Keystone Premier? It's very much like the RV's you show here in the video. We just bought one.
Cousin to the Cougar. Pretty solid overall
Josh , How about a full look at The Passport GT 2400 RB? Also the Brinkley z Air 285
They're proto-testing the Z Air 285 now. When it's ready I'll be down to capture it.
I'll keep that passport on my hit list. Been a while since I saw them
How would a vehicle like a nessan frontier handle the rockwood? That's the one im currently looking into.
man.. it would be 100% what a frontier would like to handle. For local travel / mostly flat landing.. probably ok
But cross country / mountains? Man.. I wouldn't
Tough to pick 5 or even 10 out of all the travel trailers out there. My favorite on the video is the Cougar. My top overall is the Grand Design Imagine XLS 23LDE.
I think when I recorded this I hadn't YET had a chance to do the LDE but here's what I thought when I saw it: ua-cam.com/video/aj-VEKKC0Y4/v-deo.html
Josh, what are your thoughts on the imagine xls 23lde?
I haven’t a chance to put my hands on one of those yet. I missed one last year by a single day. From all the buzz I’m hearing from people the darn thing is nearly perfect
1&2 agreed!
👍🏻
can you do a video on a Forest reiver heritage glen hyper lite 22 RBHL. would like to know the details. thank you
Here's one bit.ly/39i6Kqb and I have updated 2023 footage coming soon
Thanks
Welcome!
How about the Coleman by Dutchman 1805RB
Is there anything in this same weight range that is also a toy hauler, that you would recommend?
I would have to look. Maybe a 190rt wildwood? Just shooting from the hip
Do you happen to have a video of the perfect smaller couples RV with a separate bed room? My wife is adamant about an enclosed sleeping area. Good video. Thank you.
Check out the Imagine Grand design 22 rbe
Try here bit.ly/3ceCe2A
Any chance of a top 5 Cargo Bunkhouse video?
I'm reaching the point with the new 2023's coming out my days are overflowing with things to record so not likely to be able to get one of those out
But a few of my favorites in no particular order:
► Cougar 29BHS (now discontinued 😭) bit.ly/3AAwut2
► Cougar 30BHS will have to take its place I guess? bit.ly/3IqX5ve
► Ember 191MSL basically single handedly redefined the concept:
► Rockwood 2509S Now enters the Fray! (Video might not be out yet.. but coming soon): bit.ly/3dB1KiP
► And let's throw a Wildcard in there: The new Sierra/Sandpiper 388BHRD (I dont yet have video). FIFTH WHEEL with elevated rear bunks & cargo below!)
Nice, any chance you can review a no bo 20.4? I saw one at Hershey last year, but it was a prototype, hoping to see one this year
I know we have Ibex, its cousin, in our lineup. Not sure we actually carry NoBo anywhere...
@@JoshtheRVNerd ok thanks
Hey Josh, when you were doing the honorable mentions, I saw in the background a camper that had a full size door in the back. Am I crazy ? If not what is that?

Good choice!
@@JoshtheRVNerd do a vid on the short Cougar 5th wheel
Josh. how does the Cougar 22RBS stack up in this list?
Around the Rockwood and cougar-ish
Aka pretty high in my book
Hi, what can I pull with a 2022 Tahoe? Ik 8,400 tow capacity but what length should be maxx? I want a kitchen with an island for sure! Thanks.
There’s not a generic answer I can give you here. Answer can vary based on where you live, where you go, etc
@@JoshtheRVNerd okay, thanks.
Hey Josh i'm going to be buying an RV in about 5 months so i'll be looking for a RV i can live in full time . what do you suggest. oh yeah i have a half ton truck and no fifth wheel.
Hi Monte! I'm not really effectively able to offer insights specific to you without actually having a chance to understand your preferences.
I would recommend speaking with a member of our team so they can properly outfit you with an RV that works for what you're needing
I would like to see the counter space of a Grandesign 17 KME with a theater seats with a dinette.
Such a good model that MKE...
Cougar was my favorite. If it only had outdoor speakers and kitchen.
They do have outside speakers btw
But no camp kitchen
@@JoshtheRVNerd I’ll keep watching your channel. We are in Ohio and are in the market for a travel trailer in the next 6 months or so. Keep up the great job and info.
Haha 10lb of sugar in a 5lb sack...yeah NSFW reference but love your passion for your work. You seem to really enjoy what you do. I'm looking to pickup a camper for my Jeep Grand Cherokee and I'll be making the drive from Cincinnati to buy it from you. Good stuff my man.
Ty 😊
Not sure if you have a forum that folks can give some wants and needs in a trailer, where you can reply with some suggestions.
:)
As always you rock bud
The comment section of any video was perfectly fine. I think sometimes feel like the comments have to be related to the video they’re watching. I don’t care where you write them LOL
Hey Josh, speaking of couples RV's, do you have any insight as to why Jayco 16RK was discontinued after one year? My retired parents are looking at a used one and it seems really nice but we want to make sure there was not some design flaw or something. Thanks
The only reason the manufacture does or does not build a floor plan is because it does or does not sell in a volume they feel is acceptable
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks! Keep up the great work on the videos!
Josh what put the cougar mls over the imagine mle for you?
I want to begin by saying IT'S CLOSE. Comes down to a few personal preferences
I do like the bigger bed and keystone's solar flex package is unmatched in the market (though Jayco appears to be copying off Keystone's test for their 2023 Overlander system)
The standard tank heaters are also a nice peace of mind item and the fact the Cougar has a swaption for a table/chairs is nice. I've reviewed one built that way before and really liked it more than I expected
It's SMALL stuff but overall it edges Imagine for my personal money
But would I turn my nose up at that 22MLE?
lol -- no. THE THING'S A STUD!!
A couple of years when we're couldn't get the Cougar 22 mls, we almost ordered the imagine mle, but keep comparing everything to the Cougar, that's when we realized that's what we really wanted, so I kept looking and finally found one. It's beautiful and feels so spacious inside.
Awesome videos thank you .
I know everyone wants to know the prices.
Pricing we keep on our website because it can vary by equipment and location as well as update overtime. They will always give you the ability to see current pricing rather than what it happened to be a year ago when I recorded some of the stuff
