That's not genre-hopping thats just not being a basic 2-dimensional ass human. "Genre Hopping" is when someone LEAVES a genre, usually do to personal changes or business reasons. So like when Farruko when from reggaeton to being religious af, that could be seen as hopping genres since the entire character of the person has changes. Same for when half of Salt n Pepa went gospel or whatever (its been a minute haha). Crazy how ONLY rap fans see doing more than 1 genre of work as a bad thing.... Dude literally kept dropping fire raps with people like EST Gee while having a literal NUMBER 1 rock album, directing and acting in movies, and getting engaged to megan fox, then immediately back to work on a rap album thats about to drop. Like dude is just winning life and ONLY rap fans go "he quit rap" while dude is in the studio recording raps that are gonna outperform half of their favorite rappers anyways.
