Thank you for this video. I’m gonna order one. I have a bulky Jump Box but this one looks like it will fit into the glove box of my pickup truck. I watched a video yesterday of a larger (about 12”) long, it done a great job but the half price of $140 was out of my budget. PS your wareing my style of budget friendly work pants👍. I wonder how long the battery is going to last if I am only pulling 15A.
Just used it on my car.. it’s been sitting under the seat since 4 months last recharge.. it’s been really cold.. car wouldn’t start.. moment later it started.
Only thing.. they don’t tell you about the recharge lights on this thing.. you gotta wait till all the lights stay on , it fully charged, until then one or two lights on then all while charging.. then three light and so on.. it should be mentioned.
I got one on my Harley with fix a flat small can.. helps me and others I ride with. I got big can of fox flat for my car.. no one wants to spend half a day rescuing you if you can simply do it yourself.
Single moms should get fox flat and this.. it’ll get them home..make a plan then to repair, not after a restaurant or movie with the kids.. get someone to take you through the steps.. flats.. screw on the valve stem after shaking the can, press the button and the tire inflates if it’s not a blow out.
Even if the tire is low.. use it and get to a safe place. This thing , I used an older one to start a diesel and a big V-8, so long as it’s only a battery dead problem.❤
I ordered this after my car wouldn't start, the jumper did not have enough power to start it because the battery was so dead, the car had been sitting for a month. After jumping it with my other car and ran it for awhile and parked it, the next day the battery was charged enough to start but the jump box then started the car. So if no lights come on and there is no lights coming on in the car when you turn over the key the jump box probably won't work for ya.
Actually it will start a car with the battery completely disconnected as I have tested. The problem is that you need to hit the BOOST button for that to work. You probably didn't do that so it would not start your dead battery. The BOOST function increases the output so even a completely dead battery is no problem.
Will it start a vehicle without a battery in it? I want a new jump starter to start my small outboard and I don't want to have to carry a large battery with me. My old one does but its getting old so I need to replace it.
It may, but if you want one that I know will do it for certain, go watch the latest video I just posted on my channel page. It is another jump starter that I just reviewed and I did that exact test (No Battery Jump) with this new jump starter. This new one will do it for sure.
@@ModernDIYProjects I bought one and it will not start an engine without a battery with the supplied cables, but with the old cables from the other jump starter it will.
@@yepitsme6202 Did you click the BOOST button on the cables? Sometimes you need to do that. Go watch the review I did recently of a similar starter from Vtoman. You will see in the video how I had to push the BOOST button to start a truck with no battery.

@@ModernDIYProjects I am looking for one that makes me start the car even if the battery falls, the alternator on the bmw has a tantrum, the spare part does not arrive ... battery with 700 agm starting, I have also seen some that swell the wheels but I do not understand 3000 o 4000 do not speak of inspiration etc.

Yes it would. I have done this test with the battery missing and it still works.
Pretty sure the product is over rated by 98%, but hey, as long as it works, who cares.
