Isn’t this already in-built in the iOS camera for the last couple of years?
OCR is but being able to do something with it isn't. If you want to take a picture of a menu or use pictures of a menu to then calculate calories for example, or books pages you want to keep and rewrite later on. This methods helps you do the OCR and then add it to a database or a workflow where you can do more with it! 🙂
@@buildwithvince Isn’t that was iOS shortcuts is there for? Let me try to see tomorrow if possible and share my learning :) Please keep sharing more such videos, we noobs get to learn a lot from you :)
@@deyakash2504 you 100% could do it with iOS shortcut for the OCR part. Again different use case, and only works for iOS. There's always different ways to approach problems. In the video this approach is more to build a products around it. :) PS: if interested you can check one of my videos on how I integrated OpenAI directly within iOS shortcuts!
Thanks again for your questions! 🙏
@@buildwithvince Yes have been following you since you started the channel and saw it already, hence felt it’s just a small tweak from that :) Keep up the good work my friend :) All the best!
