We have a yorkie too and we were told he was full breed yorkie, well we did a DNA test on him and he has like 10% Maltese and he’s now 10lbs lol. Hate when people aren’t honest.
I’m confused what’s the differences and why does it matter? I’m just curious I’ve seen a few comments about this but I don’t understand fully the term pure bread
@@stephvlogz263 that’s okay! Purebred means the dog is one breed and isn’t mixed with anything. An example would be a purebred German Shepherd (one breed only) vs a German Shepadoodle or something (A mixed breed). It matters because mixed breeds are from backyard breeders (breeders who breed dogs for quick cash, usually using terms like “teddy bear dogs”, “rare colours”, etc) and overall they aren’t ethical. Purebreds also have the guarantee of any health or behavioural issues as it is one breed therefore knowing beforehand any issues that can arise within the breed is beneficial vs a mixed where it’s really just unpredictable. There’s a lot more to it but this is sort of an easier way of understanding, at least to myself. If you have any other questions please ask! I love educating others ❤️

He is precious! It could take him a few weeks to adjust to his new home, even though hes supposedly crate trained. Thats typicsl for new puppies. I would suggest getting a contained gaited ared where you can set up multiple stations- one for his bed, one for his food and water, and another for his potty pad

This is a new place. Just be consistent him, and take him out every hour. Put him on the pad, and say pee; and potty.
He does pretty well with potting outside! He doesn’t have accidents anymore.

@@nay.caliyah If every hour is to much then every hour and a half. When you see their bladder can hold it longer then go every 2-3 hours. You must be consistent if you want them trained, and quickly. You must put in the work.
@@nay.caliyahnot for new puppies my dog had a small bladder but its better now but he did have to go out every hour
We have a little girl named Bindi. She is so sweet, smart, funny and adorable! She learns so fast! You only have to tell her once and she’s got it! She goes everywhere with us and never makes a peep, she loves to people watch. Enjoy your baby🤗👍👍💖 ps, they make plastic trays that hold the pads. They are wonderful and keep the puppy from playing with the pad.

That’s not true, your dog should always have access to water.
Actually, if before bed you can cut the water and take your puppy to pee. Then you can sleep without the puppy needing to pee.
Not true. You will never potty train your puppy by giving it unlimited access to water. She’s doing the right thing, especially before bed

That’s when they are older and more self sufficient but when they are puppies it’s good to controll how much water and food to make sure they are healthy bc you wouldn’t let a toddler eat and drink whenever bc they would not drink enough or drink too much

He shouldn’t have been going out until he had all his shots that was too early. You have to wait for a puppy to get all of their shots to take them outside on public grounds and public grass so keep that in mind for future references because they can actually die and get Pavo.
I consulted my vet before I did anything. My vet said it was okay to take him to the side walk area where other dogs cannot go to. I

Scooby is 11 months now and fully trained. This is a pretty old video. He doesn’t go in a crate anymore.
To try and train him to do his business on the puppy pad. What you have to do is any time he has a accident place him on the pad and don’t let him see you clean his accident because if he sees you cleaning his accident he’s gonna do it over and over again and he is going to think that it is ok to use the floor and if he does number two just place him on the puppy pad and put his poop on there with him
How big will he get
He probably won’t get bigger than what he currently is now (go watch my puppy update video) He’s a pretty small dog 🐶 😂

Not true because dogs get dry skin from washing them to much once a week or once every 2 weeks
He should always have e water, if you want to give him that milk that should be in a separate bowl not his water bowl.

Another example of you’re doing too much she already gave it away stop that is an old dog. This video was about her new dog not the old one just stop.
When you give Scooby a bath you might want to try and put him in the tub with low amount of water so that he can run around and just kind of get use to it or get in the bath with him and he will thrive to the water

I noticed your puppy's tail has been docked.
My daughter recently adopted a precious Yorkshire terrier too and thank the Good Lord, he has his whole tail.
Yorkie's have loads of energy actually, even if they're super small, so your little Scooby will appreciate having a run around at the park.
With regards to him teething, my daughter's Yorkie is too.
Your Scooby would benefit from you giving him some paper, just plain scrunched up paper for him to rip up and run around your apartment with.
It'll lift his cortisol levels and release happy hormones.
It'll take you 5 minutes or so to tidy up ripped paper and it's worth his happiness, so do it please, thank you!
