  • The best shock building tutorial: • Waffle Time with James...
    In this video we finish the chassis, knuckles, shocks and electronics. I really enjoyed building this kit and only ran into a few minor issues. Other than that, a great quality kit that I'm sure will be enjoyed for many many laps.
    I'll be sorting the proper body in another video when I've done a bit of practice and got the chassis setup to where I'm comfortably driving it.

    I hope you are doing well, as we haven't heard from you in some time. I think we all wish you the best of luck with whatever is happening now, and I for sure wish you good luck with whatever you're up too.

      Thanks for the kind words, currently got no time to make videos and UA-cam is not a great place to make videos for. Might be bak at some point but just enjoying the hobby without filming everything.

      Thank you. It's nice to have a new chassis to play with. Needs a few things setting up properly after its first run out but overall, I'm very happy with it. The fan is a bit ridiculous though, luckily you can't actually hear it on track.

      It will return when some other projects are finished off. Like I said in the project round up video, it's not the priority at the moment.

      Just some little adhesive patches. The old kind though, not the new double hook stuff.

    so a drift chassis with for the looks brakes doesn't have dual calippers in the rear?!

    • @RCProjects
      @RCProjects  5 років тому +1

      Yeah, I would like to get the aluminium set but RMX 2.0 parts are very difficult to get hold of in the UK. A dual caliper setup does sound good.

    Hi,
    great video, thanks for that.
    I am also thinking about buying an RMX.
    Can you possibly say something about the RRX? There is one but you can hardly find anything about it.
    And a question about your body: It looks like it's the same as the Blaze DFR from Hobbyking (Nissan GTR)
    Where do I get the light buckets?
    Do you have a URL?
    Thanks a lot and best RegardsGecko

    • @RCProjects
      @RCProjects  4 роки тому +1

      Can't say anything about the RRX as I've never had one. Different weight balance with the motor further back but no idea how that would effect it in drift. The body was just a cheap one from Ebay to use for practice. I had some Tamiya GTR light buckets in my spares box, so used those. Pretty widely available with a quick search. Hope this helps.
