So helpful!!! I have the mood light but wasn’t sure what it was for so I’ve just been saving it.

Great idea to only set on spots. Use Hourglass so long- but not this way ❤

Great video!!! I’m 41 and done with highlight. I have luminous light but will get diffused light on my next shopping trip 👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you so much for this video! I just bought the ethereal edit palette (ethereal, diffused heat blush, and incandescent strobe) and yours is one of the most helpful and explanatory videos I've found. Also, you have beautiful eyes and a really soothing voice! ❤️

Corinna, thank you so much for explaining this powder this way, as a texture/finish unifier!!! I was wondering what brushes you recommend with this powder. I think you have the RT blush brush? Any others? Cheers! =)

M B yep that’s the real techniques blush brush, I also recommend Louise Young LY49 brush or LimeLife 01 or 19 xx

Neveen Wood would you say diffused light has a glow to it? I’m looking for one to use all over my face 😊

Ps: i see mixed reviews on it! Some say it does have a glow/sheen/shimmer and others say it doesn’t

I also have the trio and am looking for a more “smoothed out” finish to my skin. I have some acne scars, a burn, and bags under my eyes. I opt for only a medium coverage, natural finish foundation for comfort and realism, sometimes taking a small layer over my reddish areas.
I’ve tried light setting powder over the area of my face that need it, (ordering a new undereye setting powder), yet I find when I use the Hourglass powders, my face looks cakey, pores enlarged, and bags under my eyes look pronounced again... like it takes away from the work I’ve just done, even if I try fix+ to repair it. I use Tatcha Silk Canvas (the liquid now) for primer, Becca undereye products (both the cooling primer and pearly pink corrector). Then I blend leftover foundation onto the area, no makeup applied directly to the area, just the lightest was of color) as this is the ONLY way I get brightening without creasing. Concealer is a no, even Robert Welsh or Wayne Goss style. I can dot it on my inner nose, temple, and indentation of bags for a play on light to reduce the look, just no on or blended into my undereye, especially the inner corners. My skin is tight everywhere else, but that skin is so thin and krepey, my fine lines appear easily.
Anyways, the Incandescent Light powder was shown, by Hourglass, as a good choice for light application over this area, as well as the cheek and over the pores... ummm no. The dim light as an all over soft finish, a no there too. I’m pale and it looks like I’ve been into some dust. In targeted areas it looks a like contour-ish deal, and the Radiant Light is a slight bronze. All of the product accentuate my flaws, regardless of application technique. Am I missing something?

I have that powder. I have the palette. People might say I'm insane but... before I bought the hourglass, I bought NYC Sun 'n' Bronze bronzing powder at Walmart. It's meant to give the same glowy effect. I almost like the NYC more or the same as the hourglass. And it was only about $3

"I'm not 12." Thank god! I thought I was the only one who didn't like highlighters because I don't need to look like a dam disco ball!
