Mines been terrible, barely used it. Thinking of returning it because it’s that bad. I think I just got a defective iPad because I left it on settings for 40 minutes doing nothing with the screen and it’s gone down 10%.
Mine (with cellular) had awful battery life the first 1-2 days, and then it became really great. Maybe iOS 15.4.1 update also helped. Also backlight level always at 100 % will shorten drastically.
If this comes with oled and atleast 90hz Should be better battery life than this I hope apple slaps in 10k mah for the next ipad mini then i might consider buying one
My mini6 uses half its battery in a couple of hours of UA-cam; very poor. I also have a Samsung tab 7 fe which eats it’s battery, even when off! However my iPhone 14 and 11 before that have excellent battery life. Strange?
For me I’ve noticed after using it since release date that battery timing has decreased that’s because I’m a heavy gamer I use to get 4hrs + of heavy gaming (pubg+call of duty) now I get less then 3hrs otherwise normal use it’s ok on iOS 15.4.1
use tempered glass screen protector from esr, screen looks crisp and no blur issue. matte screen protectors make screen look oily and weird blurry after some days. and starts to look bad over time. Tempered glass can go for years unless you break it. Matte one you have to replace over 3-4 months, suggested

The screen time average was 6hours 20 mins and was mostly used by gaming like genshin and cod mobile, just wanted to ask if this is normal or should i be worried that the battery drains faster than normal. I dont have an idea since its my first time having a ipad mini. Thanks!
I charged my iPad mini 6 to 100% and then power it off and when I power it on a few hours later or the next day, the battery is drained to 50% or at 0%. The battery is draining even when it’s powered off. I went to the Apple Store and got apple support and they told me everything is fine or I could send it in for diagnostic and repair for $399. The battery is clearly defective. No way!

The iPad mini 6 is honestly a good buy. The only reason why you would get the 7 is because you might want all the new gimmicks that come with it. So it’s all up on what you are looking at

Thats a relief. Get 3 days easily back here in India. Is a screen protector advisable for mini 6 with respect to Apple Pencil usage?
