Sorry to see you go, but have enjoyed the tour. Stay safe and I'll see on your next visit and maybe if you hit these shores again I can show you some of the things you missed!
Thank you Mick! We will be back soon...but have a few other adventures planned in the meantime which we will be vlogging as well! Thanks for tuning in!
I've spent less than a full day in Bruges (last stop on a cruise) so it was lovely to be reminded of its beauty and see all the places I didn't have time to see. Thanks for another great video.
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
In Bruges we had a partnership with Zakske 13, would highly recommend! We usually just find places through Google or people's recommendations on Instagram, UA-cam, etc.
When I was in Bruges we stumbled across Brasserie Cambrinus- My word what a discovery! The steak was so large it came on two plates, Next time im back I will try the mussels too. Brilliant video.
Oh my, Bruges looks INCREDIBLE! Would absolutely be down for a canal tour whenever we get to visit. That coffee spot looks great, and the guy was so sweet. The spiral staircase looks gnarly, and the bells sound so intense, especially for only “27 lbs!” 😜 Also looks like you had some amazing food there, too!
@@TheEvergreens I'm from Bruges and we have a lot of tourists (I've talked to quite a few Americans who are here for a day, or even a whole week). I never heard that they say Bruges is underrated. Why do you feel that it's underrated? Because it's a small city compared to what you have in the US? Because it's still linked with the Middle Ages? Not judging, just curious why you think it's underrated 😉 Anyway: nice video! I'm happy that you like Bruges so much!!!
Thanks so much for the positive feedback! And Helsinki and Lapland is definitely high on our list! We almost tried to go last Christmas...but hopefully we will make the trip happen soon!
Thank you for making this - It's easily the best Bruges video I've seen so far. I'm visiting next week (June 1st 2024). I was wondering how safe it was for you to get the drone footage? I'd like to take mine and film some bits but I'm a little worried as my Mavic weighs over 249g. Did anyone bother you?
Thanks so much for watching and for your kind feedback! We hope you have the best time...Bruges was one of our favorite European places we've been to so far! When we were there, I didn't see any signs banning drones, and overall it seemed pretty chill...no one bothered me (obviously this could've changed, but hopefully not for your sake!). I was a bit nervous a few times but no one seemed to care or notice. I would recommend early mornings to be even more discreet.
We’ve never done Bruge. It looks amazing. We enjoyed touring with you. Those mussels look fantastic! It looks such a friendly place. Thanks for sharing 🍻
I will be solo traveling to Belgium (Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels, and Bruges if I can fit) Do they have a smaller portion or even a kids portion. I do not eat much at any given meal. I tend to get very full after one or two bites. So food and solo travel dont mix, but I am on business. I want to later enjoy with my Wife in April. Curious if they just offer something smaller there is no way I can handle a pot of mussels!
that's a good question! I don't think they offered a smaller portion at that particular restaurant, but you can find mussels and frites all over Belgium. I'm sure there are places that offer smaller portions! Sorry for the delayed response. Enjoy your trip! We would have loved to make it to Ghent.
@@Vikramt21 Veg food: Black Bird, Atelier Floor, De Republiek, That's Toast and amazing take away "Olive Tree". Where to stay depends on your budget but almost all the hotels are pretty similar and nice :) Hope I could help!
Loved to watch all your European adventures. I hope you've enjoyed your trip enough to come back one day. Safe journey home ladies.
Thank you, Dave! We will return soon!!

Aw thanks, Stevo!! We really appreciate that :)

Glad we could bring back some memories for you, Sue! It's such a charming place to visit.
Did you have to book the canal tour prior or just when you get there? Do they have canal tour at night? :) thank you
We visited Bruges in 2010. This video brought back such sweet nostalgia. Beautiful city!
Love that! It truly is a beautiful place to visit!
We love a walkable city! This place is insanely picturesque!
It was a perfect little European delight! We only wished we had more time there!

What kind of bag is that you're using for the camera gear? Also what's the clip on the shoulder strap where you can hang the camera from?
Another great video! Come back to the UK!!!! x

Omg that’s amazing! We loved meeting him. If you have a chance to share this video with him, please do! We meant to and unfortunately lost touch.
Thanks for the details! Question on weather. You posted in August but your clothes say fall/winter. What time of year did you go? How was the temp?
Hi Tia! We were there mid-late April. The weather was perfect…most days it was comfortable in light jackets. I’d say the average was 50-55F.
How did you book your stay?

We were in Bruges in October. Beautiful city!
It really is! We were so glad we made a stop there!
If you want more fries or sauce you can ask they don't charge you for extra fries in most places .. happy to hear you enjoyed it
Whoa! That's awesome...we never heard that but a good tip for future travelers!
