- We have to stay in Martinique at least until the 4th of January as a guy is flying in to double check something on the boat. No worries as there are several interesting little bays around the island and we celebrate New Year's Eve together with Surya in Les Trois Ilets.
the way to jump into the new year
The way you capture and film the sailing is just awsome, it feels as if one is actually there, the only thing missing is the wind in our faces. I can feel yself moving in my chair mimicking the wave motion of the boat.
Great stuff, keep it up. Also your videos are always current and up to date which is so refreshing to see.
This is actually a rare time where the published videos are covering 2 week old events. Too much footage, 3 on the shelf uploaded but waiting to be published. Golden Patreon opportunity to cover the equipment costs 🙈
Another great cruise.
🍻Happy New Year 🥂 to you lovely guys 🎉 Wishing you all!! The very best!! And safe sailing👍
wow
Merci pour le partage,, tous mes voeux
Happy new year and wishing you all the fun in the world staying safe at sea in your beautiful boat. I am looking forward to your new adventures and updates.
Nice shots with the camera pokes. Great new pov.
Portland Dan here. I love those bow shots of GC2 slicing though the water pushed by a fresh breeze, what a machine. It seems from your vids and others, there are many boaters leading life on the water. The ending when you comment on life being one big party, thanks for sharing yours with us. Safe travels, Dan.
Lots of people living on all kind of different boats. Maybe it’s not always party but we really like this way of living. And yes I can look at the smooth sliding for quite a while as well, like looking at the waves on a beach
I look forward to every episode, this is so good !
Always hunting for that perfect shot, often succeeding.
Many shots many chances 🙈
Happy New Year and safe sailing.
Lovely..🤟
Happy New year
Living the good life!
So far so good
Happy new year ! Thank you for sharing your adventures ! I assume 20 mins of video take at least 10 hours of filming and editing. I hope you guys take the time every day to stand still with the fact that you are living a dream. And you Marc : sailing the glywo on an O55 and nothing but beautifull women on it ... 😉The boat looks fabulous with the code 0, genua and main together. Hopefully you can make some nice drone shots from that set up in the future.
Yes they look wonderful don’t they?
I wonder why you doń t have at least 200,000 or 300,000 subscribers, the best sailing channel on you tube...
Not important, just for fun, but glad you like it 👍
@@CatGreatcircle Usually when the fun ingredient is added to the mix the quality shots sky high!! And here is the evidence!!
There's no law against having fun and may you have loads!! for 2022!!
Happy new year guys just catch up what happen to your 3rd crew member
Making a career in Sweden in the winter months over there
Happy new year to you.
Question: how often do you have to run the generator in the caribic? Are the solar panels sufficient for your energy consumption?
On anchor the solar would be ok most of the times except for heavy laundry days or multiple cloudy days in a row.
When sailing quite often the panels are in the shade from the sails and sailing south the angle of the solar on the davits is not ideal
So we’re really glad to have the genset
No fireworks for new year ???
We didn’t have any and not much happening in terms of fireworks on Martinique
please add the subtitles
I can't wait to move on to new places, the Caribbean is over rated.
It’s still nice but we also feel it’s getting more exiting from now on. Leaving the day after tomorrow in the direction of Panama
