Beautiful car. I prefer the traditional 15" wheel and tire combo but his 17" polished setup with this black and silver paint looks fantastic. At 3:38 the wife couldn't get the lap-belt on...what a gentleman.

Is super performance going to build the crazy double supercharged 427 that Shelby built for himself . I read about that monster when I was 16 in Road & Track and the performance graphs were off the chart, and recently found their story on UA-cam. It couldn't build it for just anybody. I know that 1 was crashed and Shelby was keeping the other. Does his family still have it. I would love to work there it would be almost as good as as working for Cobra in its day. Great video of a magnificent replica.

It's a good thing my Galaxy Edge 7 is water proof 'cause I just drooled all over the screen. I'm thinking of selling my BMW 1M for one of these.
Also curious do they have a modern electronic ignition and new technology braking systems or is this an actual replica.Superb car.
My curiosity will they build what would be regarded as a replica and if so would they source original parts, which would drive the cost up or would they up the work out to the guys that built the replica, remembering things like changes to safety and emission laws. I watch " in Australia Classic Cars" and he talks about how genuine copies are worth more than a copy. It would see a waste of time and effort but if you are going to spend money on a replica why not go all the way.
By the way thanks for the info. For my own interest I am starting to build a history of Carrol Shelby's Ford Gt Mk11's. These cars will never be built again. Cars like the Veryon are more works of art than road going brutes like these. Shelby was a very clever man!. There used to be a guy that sold Fibreglass Cobra bodies about 1/2 mile from me. He had one built like this but it needed more work but was pretty good though.

I dont particularly care for polished wheels on these...kind of like putting clint eastwood in a rhinestone cowboy outfit...these need to be dark centers with tarnished lips, billboard size tires and white lettering in my opinion...

Good thing the cop is sitting there. That place looks familiar from some of the 'idiots leaving cars and coffee..' videos where guys smash up because they are trying to show off and cannot handle the power of their car. Usually, replica/kit/continuation (whatever the politically correct term is nowadays for the non-AC cars, LOL) Cobras, too!

That's not a real SC Cobra it's a kit car. There were only 40 427 SC (Semi-Competition) Cobras ever built. If this was a real SC Cobra it would have Carroll Shelby's signature on the glove box. Also no one in their right mind would replace the original 427 with a Roush racing engine.

Steveo H Yeah, this is C&C Irvine at Ford Headquarters parking lot in Irvine. No matter how many leaflets were circulated idiots would still peel out, drift, etc.,. so the cops started showing up until it was eventually shut down (12/2014). Such a shame. Everything from Bugatti's to Aventadors to muscle cars would show up. Hands down one of the best Cars & Coffee events ever.
