    I think that silo in the 3rd game is to just avoid losing money because the gems fill up the refinery quickly, and the placement doesn't matter much because there's no need to crawl hard on this map.
    Also, bonus 4th game!

    I love myself some classic red alert, just such a shame the only allied strat seems to be light tank spam. Would love to see some more variety with chrono tanks and cruisers and whatnot.

      Light-tank spam is used because it's OP. Check out the "Open RA" project, there were some actual balancing going on in there.

    It seems heavy tanks are at a severe disadvantage even more because of how fast light tanks are. The vast majority of engagements had the heavies fire at a light tank and do pathetic damage because the light tank would outrun the shells and not take full damage.
    Meanwhile light tanks do full/most of their damage because heavies are too slow to dodge.
    I feel like heavies would have a chance and light tanks wouldn’t be the overwhelmingly dominant choice if heavies didn’t lose 90% of their damage while taking full damage VS a moving light tank.

      Yeah I don't really watch RA1 anymore, because even though RA3's balance has its ... quirks ... it is infinitely more balanced than RA1.

      I have barely seen a match on large scale maps where a Soviet players was able to defeat a skilled Allied one.

      @@MrCalhoun556 Allied player doesnt even need to be skilled. the rate they can pump out 4 light tanks while the soviet player is probably still on 1 or 2 and having to really think out his base is crazy. allied players can literally just plop down 3/4 buildings and unless the Soviet player has done somethin pretty spectacular you can bet he's gonna send em straight in and blow up mcv/ore refinery and win.

    Devs need to buff heavy tanks shell speed. Allieds should be forced to mix in Medium tanks to soak damage for their light tanks, not just overwhelm like that.

    It would be nice to see you cast some more Ronaldo videos.. since these were casted, he has basically become the dom of the ladder.

    Players from soviet team need tactic. Try kill enemy war factory or ore collector in eraly game. If they can't only try rush op from another side ( base trade ).

      and at the same time the allied player will be doing all of this as well with the massive advantage of having loads of light tanks pumping out soon as they have a war factory down

    The main issiue with the game is that theres no real aim from units like in more modern cncs... they just fire on the last spot

    When well managed a single light tank is about even with a heavy tank 1:1. When completely unmanaged a single light tank will kill a single medium tank. That has always been a bit of a balance issue in red alert.

    I wish RTS can fix the issue of not being able to use mods for online Skirmish! I want to use AI Boost but doesn't allow this to happen online.

    why didn't the 3 engineers capture that tank factory?

      There's an option in the game that you can enable where a building needs to be at a certain hp before an engineer can capture it. That's why those engineers basically acts like a bomber unit, because they need to reduce the hp first

    When playing against light tank spam go defensive with walls for choke points!

      thats fine as long as u have choke points right by your spawn point. which isnt often. and all the time ur sorting walls and not building other building the allied player has built up a ton and will just blast through m anyway

      If infantry were unsquishable there would probably have to be a few other balance tweaks as well, but it would at least force players to mix up their comps a little bit more.
