Agree. I listened maaaaaany years ago, being a child, I think at Carl Sagan´Cosmos but i didn´t know author or name of the piece. I discovered again almost 40 years later at a Vangelis docu and I remembered from my chilhood. Is one of my favourite pieces in all music.

This is one of my favorite albums by Vangelis. I have a copy of it on vinyl, and thank "Heaven"s it's still in excellent condition. (I couldn't resist!)
I've gone through a couple. I'd like to get a copy of the remastered version on vinyl, but it's not easy to find, even on Discogs.

this album is best listened to while peaking on a large dose of fine LSD. preferably using a powerful stereophile quality system, eg, a Hafler 400 power amp into a double pair of original Advent speakers. i promise a religious experience.

Such a weird album. Often supremely irritating, but at times also incredibly beautiful.

Vangelis Papatanasiou is from Greece, not from Japan. Kitaro is from Japan, another master of electronic music.

I’m scared of this part
Ah, indeed. One can't truly appreciate heaven unless one has conquered his or her inner demons. Even those fallen angels love to hide until we're silent. Then, usually at night, they knock at the doors of our mind. At first, we're afraid, but we quickly learn that they feed off of fear. What we don't realize is that during the day, they're all the negative thoughts we have, but more often, they taunt us with fantasies and fill us with horrible thoughts and feelings. With the help of the Holy Trinity, the angelic powers of Heaven and the Saints, we can overcome then. I often use The Jesus Prayer to banish the demons, because they'll often come through flashbacks to try to remind me of past wrongs and awful reminders of my former life. It's very simple.

Have mercy on me a sinner.
If you're not a believer, please say it anyway. If the demons try to stop you from saying it, stand up, and lift your hands up above you in the sign of the cross with the right hand over the left hand, palms up, and then say it. I know it may sound odd, but it truly works if you're being assaulted by any demonic thoughts or feelings. This includes depression, and frequent nightmares and lack of sleep are just two ways they can impact us.

PS: It especially helps if you can face the East, but if you're not sure which direction it is related to the direction you're currently facing, don't worry about it. They absolutely hate the sign of the cross, and even more, they do everything to attack us when our guard is down. Chin up!
