Purple Martin Morning Social

Purple Martins socializing early in the morning.
A few visitors came by to help coax more fledglings out for a flight. The first 23 babies fledged from different gourds over a 2 week period and there are 16 more in 4 gourds that should fledge in the next few days.
Turn up the volume and enjoy the serene sights and sounds of Martins and Fledglings early in the morning on June 24, 2011.

I love this video. I have watched it several times over the past few years. When I first saw it, I had initially started trying to get Martins. I hosted four pairs last season! Looking forward to 2015.
