Production houses are run as family managed businesses...and so those who invest 50 crores on a project...have the right to decide who all they want to work with. Just like you cant dictate who a private company MD should hire as manager, director or partner. Likewise, YRF, Dharma, SKF, Mukta, Vishal Bhardwaj Films, RGV, Red Chillies etc don' t care much if you are the most talented...but just look for a presentable personality...some financial and marketing support..to hedge the risks.
When my neighbor finished his direction course from NYFA, New York...he landed a job with a top production house after paying 1 crore. Did he not have talent? Yes...but who will cover the expenses? Who will buy extra equipment etc. If nepotism was sooo sooo restricting...People like Manoj Bajpai and Anushka Sharma would not have made it to the top. Of course it's tough...very few will make it...but that's true for every industry.

Yes, he was possibly cornered by the production houses. There may have been jealousy and he may have tried to change the rules of the game too early. He may also have been caught up in camp politics. His doctor (Dr Chavda) has also mentioned that he was barely sleeping for 3-4 hour in the last 1 year. He also had frequent arguments with Rhea, and they possibly broke up a few days before he allegedly committed suicide. However, those things add up to a weak case for abetment of suicide unless there is a financial angle..or a marriage promise that was rescinded..which again has been denied by the production house and Rhea. Time will concretise things, but I really doubt that he was "murdered." May his soul rest in peace.
