What incentive does any foreign country get by listening to and aiding the US if not for getting something in return? By the way, foreign aid to Ukraine alone, which is highly publicized in the media, amounted on only 0.4% of GDP. Nothing to fret over. Everyone needs to relax a bit.

All that will do if they raise your credit limit is you will go out and get further into credit debt. and that is not good either especially when you take into account the fact that the interest rate on you card has gone up. It will take you longer to pay it off unless you make over the minimum payment or if you can manager it make to payments a month.

Oil companies need more subtleties and free public land. They only made $200 billion in profit last year (with an effective tax rate of 5%). They only have 8700 leases on 15,000,000 acres that they could be drilling now.

@@leeraffle9923 most of the leases the oil companies have are for wells that have been defunct for a long time (dried up). Biden has put so many new regulations on oil and natural gas production, that investors are afraid to put their money into it anymore. As for the profit the oil companies made the last couple of years, its call supply and demand. Biden shut down so much domestic oil production (30% of the world's oil production) that it cant keep up with the demand therefore the price has shot up tremendously. When Donald Trump was elected, he newtered the epa, and let the oil companies drill drill drill, and we became energy independent for the first time in decades. That's why we had $1.60 per gallon gasoline. As soon as biden took over, her shut it all down and gas went to $4.00+ per gallon. So if you have a problem with the oil and gas situation, take it up with the dems.
