Love these boats for ever and ever again. From a little town in Segovia, Spain, Europe, congratulations, they are not only beautiful but perfect, have to save, man, I like the 78.
I know your'e great at designing and making yachts... but your videos are excellent as well. Bravo to ALL the Fleming staff around the world! Superb craftmanship and attention to detail.
Hi Peter. It works both ways. We are pleased to provide work for Taiwan workers but we must be clear that without the excellence and skills of Taiwan workers there would be no Fleming Yachts.
great video would be nice to have a voice over of it as well. great history and people of course excellent yachts that have been made.. one question it was first listed as a 50 then a 53 and finally a 55 could you please explain the difference
Curious you've stated in the past your not American but at 11:36 I'm reading American was this incorrect or has it become more cost effective to be American ?
I was born and brought up in the UK. My accent in the videos makes that obvious. When we started Fleming Yachts 34 years ago our main market and most of our contacts were in the USA so it made sense to apply for US citizenship because I expected to live here. The process took 11 years.
Why not build them in the US? They are wonderful boats and the Taiwanese look like they are very skilled, but if built here, would avoid the shipment across the Pacific and would give Americans jobs.
Although Taiwan is also known as the Republic of China, when most people say "China" they mean the People's Republic of China. Many Taiwanese companies have moved some or all of their manufacturing to China, but Tung Hwa has not; they believe that the skill levels of their Taiwanese workers are higher than what Chinese workers would bring, and that any savings in labor costs would be offset by quality losses and time increases.
Ironic, I'll take a Taiwanese built boat over a french built one. I have both, and the Taiwanese boat have more quality on it compared to the brand new one I bought in France only a couple of years ago.
Nice history that you and everyone at Fleming have built ty
Mr. Fleming, this indeed is your Magnum Opus! Congratulations 🎉🍾
My God! What a vision!
Your efforts and follow thru are "So to be as admired "
You have taken me places I never even dreamt of.
You are my Friend ...
It is my dream boat. The most elegant yacht on the water, in the 50-70 range.

And bravo to the visionary dreamer, designer and builder of these great boats. Well done.

A great boat. Expensive but should you desire to go beyond Nordhavn and can afford the fuel

Nothing to stop you building boats in the USA if that;s what you want.
LO MAS VELLO EN HEMBARCACION MARINA .. QUE E VICTO EN MI VIDA .. GRASIAS POR EL VIDEO ..
More plastic boats from China?
its a global marketplace, if it were more profitable to build in the USA everyone would do it.

Stupid comment !
@@RD-kq3ml The irony is that you can't generalize about all the products from both countries based solely on your simplistic comparison.
