Jimmy Johnson was such a nice guy. He was fatherly, kind, and knew he wouldn't win because he's already worth millions of dollars, but wanted to make sure a member of Espada would win. Marty and Jimmy T. were just jealous.

Only idiots would vote out Jimmy in pre merge. 1 he's not a physical threat in merge 2 he's a millionaire and we all know jury's won't vote someone who doesn't need it. 3. He's kind of loyal And won't backstab you. Well I didn't know that for sure but it's 80% chance he's gonna stick with you if your allied with him.

This is still less painful for Jimmy Johnson, than what happened to him in Jacksonville for a Divisional Round Playoff Game against the Jaguars just after the turn of the century!
Honestly even though Marty had the idol I would’ve tried to form a secret alliance with Jimmy and a couple other people to backstab Marty and hope Marty doesn’t use his idol
Watching the episode only for him to be voted out unanimously confused me. I thought Jane, Holly, Eve, and JJ were voting for Dan and Jill, Marty, Dan, and Jimmy T were voting JJ with Tyrone being the swing vote. But nope.
I’ve seen over 20 seasons. The “edit” always makes it seem like it could go either way, I’m sure most times the group comes to a decision before heading out but obviously camera can’t show that

Russell also criticized Jenna, so his takes are suspect. Edit: After watching the episode, I think Russell may be right that Jimmy asked to be voted out (which is a little different than a true quit). The reason I say this is because a unanimous vote against Jimmy doesn't make any sense. He had a lot of friends.
