Okay this was AMAZING! I didn’t expect John to come up I literally didn’t even think about it and then boom he’s gone. That Elizabeth tribal scared me a little but I’m still absolutely loving this season!!

ONE OF THE MOST LEGENDARY VOTES EVER. This is genuinely one of the best moves I've ever seen. This tribal has cemented itself as one of the best in a while. Moments like this are what remind me that Survivor is simply the world's greatest game.

This was an amazing blindside and John took it look a champ. This season has definitely been a step up from what we've usually being getting

This was the best season we got since 31 Cambodia. I’d say that DvG might be a top 3 season of all time

This season is definitely top-tier. Hands down! Im so impressed by Davie and Nick! Thank God Christian and Angelina (YET AGAIN) survived. John has so much class, he was awesome.
He would have been a JP from HHH, though. Nice guy but... next.

Mel Brown John was actually playing the game, he didn’t piss anyone off and was actually quite unlucky here
John did a great job with his social game and blending into the background. Had he survived this vote, I feel like he would have been able to go deep.
@@Waraba_ If it wasn't for Dan then John might of survived. Since Dan had a immunity and they mention he's getting stronger, they needed to weaken him and Kara and John are his closest allies. They went for the strongest of the two. John was a great Social Player and had physical capabilities for later on. Sad he's gone though but loved the smart move. I like every one, even Angelina but Mike is like in the bottom of who I like of who's left
This is the efinition of a perfect blindside and huge W for the Davids
1.Nick made sure Davie knew Christian was in trouble, Davie saved him with his Idol
2.Nick knew there will be another idol played
3.Nick SPLIT 4 votes against like 6 ensuring that an idol gets flushed, they don't have to go to rocks and a Goliath goes home
4.Jon appreciates this move for how good it was, take it like a champ and doesn't get bitter by the time of final tribal council

I think it really helps that John is a professional competitor and took this in stride. Were it a repeat of Kelly Sharbaugh I'm sure it would have been more emotional (though Survivor has changed so much since those days)

They gave a subtle hint with John saying there was going to be a Brochacho Blindside. He just didn't expect that it'd be him instead of Christian.
Dan was the main target. John became the secondary one since he 1. was an individual immunity threat 2. showed no solid signs of strategically aligning with the Davids (which is why Alec, Mike, and Angelina were spared) 3. was very tight with Dan

I can't express how perfect this tribal is. Between the davids correctly playing the idol, a minority splitting the vote, and how incredibly john was when we was eliminated. John was my favorite goliath and I hope to see him back because he was such a sweetheart.
Ok seriously, Alec is playing the best double agent game of all time if he keeps this up
Easily one of the best tribal councils in the history of survivor. The amount of strategy in play in this tribal council and the underdogs completely destroying the overdogs was incredible

i loved John but this blindside was too good
john reacted to it with grace. This was beautifully executed and a feel-good blindside. No one was overly bitter over it and John respected the move and left with a smile.

Once the music dropped after the second Angelina vote, I knew it would be a different Goliath. I was personally expecting it to be Mike because he was the one that crafted the plan

One of the BEST moves in survivor history.That was absolutely legendary.I have no words I didn’t see it coming AT ALL!!!! I was literally screaming in my living room watching it.I am speechless just wow honestly I can’t recover from this!!!!!! Perfection of a vote😍😍😍

If it weren't for Alec, this season will be much less fun. He is the reason for the Natalia and John blindside and the downfall of the Goliaths lol
The funny thing is that he accidentally caused this blindside
he saved the season from being a ghost island 2.0 with Davids being like Malolos and goliaths being the "Naviti strong" storyline. Instead, we got a branch of exciting blindsided with only a few predictable votes(Jeremy, Elizabeth, Alec, and Alison)
I never tought about this. But Alec blindsiding Natalie did not made any sense. They were 3 and the Davids 2. He eliminated Natalie and now they were 2 Goliaths and 3 Davids because Carl joined the group that night, comig back from the exile.
However he did this and as a result we got an entertainign season.
I was so bummed he was banned from the reunion show I took a break from watching when he got eliminated lol
I don't know why but my favorite part of this whole scene is at the end when Nick says that's off the top rope brother

@@johnrexdacara5105 no I don't think so. He even said he's sorry he had to hide it from his allies. He was told to use his vote advantage to save Christian, but they never thought that Davie would hold an idol so it was kind of a shock to both.

I thought John would go far but I didn't root for him. Seeing his reaction to the council result just showed how good he handled the situation but at the same time showed how meaningful the game to him. Bravo John... Hope u will come back in future season.

It is survivor moments like this that make me love the game. Not only were the castaways blindsided but so were we. We had no idea that some of the David’s were going to vote for John because we thought that Angelina was going to get all the votes but we were wrong
big up the editors for not showing any signs of john being targeted, this is my first season of watching week in week out so i’m not sure if that’s how blindsides are usually set up (it isn’t in the AU version) but if so then i will definitely watch every episode until the series ends because you never know what might happen at tribal and i like that
I saw subtle hints. It clicked a fornme that this was a possibility before the tribal but was still surprised, loved the guy and hope he come back

I’ve recently gotten into Survivor and this was my first season off my recommendations and boy, it was great.
Far and away, my single favourite survivor moment of all time. I remember jumping out of my seat after realizing what had happened. Absolutely wild.
Sheesh Angelina is unstoppable.
I really thought that this would be a no vote Tribal Council, but Angelina didn't even need an idol so she was gonna stay anyway.
moonhead538 which makes the Dan save much more fulfilling hahaha. Dan, who hated Angelina’s guts, wasted an immunity. It would have been John going home either way. Dan was just so full of himself in this episode.

I really liked John he was really cool and funny. This was an awesome blindside though and it was a very smart move my Davie, Carl and Nick to vote for John
Depending on how the rest of this season plays out, this tribal has the potential to be the turning point that the David's need to flip the script on the Goliaths. I loved Davie's brilliance at playing the idol on the right person and then for the rest of the Davids to have the added intelligence of splitting their vote between John and Angelina, making sure that one of them is eliminated. I think we've only seen the tip of the iceberg though. Next tribal will be epic as well because now Nick can play his steal a vote and give the David's the majority if they stick together and target the right person. After that, I'm waiting for what I predict will be the biggest moment of the season, when Carl finally plays that nullifier....on an unsuspecting DAN who plays his remaining idol on himself!
Every time I rewatch this I fall in love with David vs. Goliath all over again!
For me, this is one of the greatest vote in Survivor, finally someone done move to flash idol, use correctly idol and blindside the leader of the other alliance.
This is easily Top 5 greatest blindsides in survivor ever. When I saw this, my jaw dropped 😱
This was epic! I didn't see that coming. I am stunned. I freeking loved it though. My favourite moment of the season so far. Go Davids and start to own the show! #TeamDavids
I stopped watching Survivor in the middle of Nicaragua cause it was such a huge letdown after HVV. I felt like HVV was the peak of the show and nothing could ever top that, so when Nicaragua didn’t even come close to being good, that was it for me. Since then I’ve only watched clips of each season on this channel and I’ve had mixed feelings about the changes in dynamic(music, jury decisions, Cirie being robbed and utterly humiliated for the 4th time!) But when I was recently flipping through channels and came across the first episode of DVG, I was immediately impressed and decided to give the show another chance. So far I haven’t been disappointed and moments like this one reminded me of why I used to love this show so much! DVG has restored my faith in the show and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the remaining castaways and seasons to come!

Don't know if Gabby would be the goat, but her emotions might screw her like it did Dawn. Dawn did every movie and was Cochran right hand, but her emotions and getting to close and cutting people throat made her the goat. Cochran made Dawn Dawn the villain that everyone could hate. I honestly never liked Cochran

Though you gotta love how Alec screwed the Goliaths by spilling the beans to NIck, which led to Nick telling Davie, which then led to Davie's idol play. I was bitterly thinking this was going to be an uneventful and predictable tribal, so I couldn't be happier with this result (Maybe more if it was Angelina who got the boot)

Damn Davids, they not only blindsided a goliath but also acted their ass off to make it more entertaining. Epic tribal and Nick and Davie are definitely the mvps.
It wasn’t last vote for John, it’s second to last. Cause notice Jeff saying “that’s two, that’s enough”. Meaning there was one more vote to be read, and it’s also for John

@@925263 She's getting a negative edit. Her fellow tribunates dislike her and she's always looking weak at tribal, she has virtually no control on the game, and everyone wants to take her out. She could get to final tribal, but she hasn't done nearly enough to be close to winning.

Well, it was either her shutting up or her going home, even though she didn't know that people voted for John.
As annoying as I find her, that was actually necessary.
I actually like Angelina (really don't understand peoples' problem with her), and yeah, I mean, what do people expect? Just sit there and get voted out? If Angelina was Christian than it'd be a different story (favoritism). Like, it's a game for a million dollars.

This is why I love Survivor: people not afraid to go there and play, excellent characters, a great edit that elevates the outcome, people who at the beggining was not a big threat now making moves (good job Davie and Nick).. I love it!
I haven't felt so excited and anxious to watch more since MvsGx.
And by the way, there's always a big great episode that CBS always announce, and this is NOT IT! So, I'm wondering and waiting what's coming cause it's gonna be EPIC!
Even though the season is great, the outcome will most likely be predictable. The Goliaths are clearly not winning this game, and I knew that since Alec flipped on Natalia.
@@moonhead538 Oh, that's for sure. A David is gonna win, (hopefully it'll be Nick and not Christian) but the storyline of "How a David is gonna make it through" it's what has drawn me in.

It has been competely accurate. I thougut that maybe the Goliaths would actually be smart enough that they're not gonna make the exact same mistakes the original Goliath did. But of course, that's clearly not the case.
And the worst part about it for me is that the one thing I don't want to happen is a David winning this season, only because I've seen a similar narrative happen so many times. And sometimes it's fun to root for the other team.

Thank god this episode didn't end up being too predictable like the last episode. I figured Davie would play his idol on Christian. But I didn't think Dan would play his idol on Angelina. This tribal was great.
