I think that a hybrid Ridgeline is just what the market needs. If Honda can bump output to around 350hp and improve average fuel economy to around 30mpg, you would have a serious competitor to both ICE and EV trucks on the market. That is if Honda can price it right ($45K to $50K). Image a midsize truck that can tow decently, get 500 miles of range, and top off in a few minutes compared to the 30 or more for an EV. So the 3.0 V6 with a set of turbos and Honda's IMA might be just the ticket.

Ridgeline needs sth different to be competitive... But even with hybrid engine I doubt people will pick it over Tacoma or Colorado.

@@LetsDriveYT think it should be noted that, while the Ridgeline wasn't the top seller in it's class, it was the only truck that showed increased sales year over year. Personally, I believe that pricing is what is really hurting Ridgeline sales. It's a great truck but it's priced near the top of the market while delivering middle of the pack truck performance. Keeping its price point and offering a hybrid makes the Ridgeline a more compelling purchase option over the Tacoma and Colorado.

If it had all that, it would be priced more unfortunately. But maybe keeping the v6 and adding a an electric battery and making it look even better. I’m excited!

Whats all the hybridization talk about. Make a difference with a list of actual upgrades. Bigger wheels are needed more ground clearance. Better performance 🎉 matter. Give it a active truck looking style. Try designing a Widespread exterior and extra interior space more leg room . More truck bed 1 extra foot longer. Why are the engineers making each model smaller 😮. There is not more towing capabilities being added. Not more suspension height between the tires and wheel flares. Add more performance it should be optional resources for better interest offerings due to all models from 2017 to 2025 to have the same exact size engine and body style/ exterior space shape and size.... why is their only 1 interior selection top trim. Blackedition version?
