Watched this because this was the shortest video there! So easy to understand! Thank you. To all the others : we're all studying, nobody has 20 minutes to hear you talk about pulling a lever ;)
Thank you SO MUCH for this video. Studying for an exam and wasn't quite getting variable ratio schedules, and I came to UA-cam. This video was short, got to the point, explained very clearly and it's all I need. Thank you very much.
Fixed Interval: Waiting a SPECIFIED amount of time until being reinforced. (being paid every 2 weeks) -Low response rate that increase when closer to reinforcements Variable interval: Waiting for a particular amount of time until being reinforced (elevators) Fixed Ratio: Being reinforced for an x # of times Variable Ratios: Doing something an unspecified # of times to until reinforcements (gambling)
I think my response to learning this topic was a variable interval schedule pattern. The interest did hold me otherwise a negative reinforcement was due. :>
The definitions were great, but the examples didn't apply to working with clients. This would be much more helpful if the example was shown during DTT, DTI, etc
jeeezus thank god, this helps fr man, i was seeing the other videos on scheds of reinforcement nd lemme tell u they were all p ass, keep up the g work g

Lol exactly!!
Fixed ratio: a specific dollar for every blouse
Variable ratio: Gambling
Fixed interval: monthly salaries
Variable interval: surprise quiz

Ah perfect. The only video on YT that applied the concepts properly and made it clear. Thank you for the explanation!

Thanks, my book was very confusing, your explanation is much better!
U killed it... After checking some graphs on google, u made everything much easier to understand.
This is the most helpful video I’ve found on this topic! I was struggling to understand it but this explained it to well! Thank you! X
Very well done! Used to assist students in my Animal Behavior course. Thank you.

this video goes straight to the point in explaining schedule of reinforcement. This video is a simplified version of the 1st video.
Wow! Amazing Job - extremely helpful! :)
He knows what he is talking about. Great Job!
literally the easiest explanation THANK YOU
such an awesome variable interval example!!
simple and straightforward, excellent!
I think I'm having difficulty understanding what "a response" is on the y-axis. Is this just the operant?
Omg you saved my life, thank you!
Very clear explanation! thank you!
good job guys, doin a great service here
Nicely done. That you!
