    How can I not like & subscribe to your channel? you're a great guy & I have a few favorite videos from your channels as well. You're one of my few favorite breeders out there. I hope to meet you in person one day with any upcoming reptile shows you're one of the people who inspire me to be in this hobby so thank you

    Just gonna let you know; you're basically the reason why I fell in love with ball pythons. I don't own one, but I saw a pied at a pet store, looked them up, then I found your website and basically started fan-girling from there. Everyone at my school knows me as the snake lover now (though I only have two lizards currently). Keep up the greatness!

    Hey Justin. So great to see a new video and we look forward to many more this year. Question: Do you feel that the Reptichip is better to use for ball pythons or should we stick with Aspin? Gray

    So this stuff don't have to be cooked or freeze to kill anything that would be living in it before using it?

  • @Massaker.D
    @Massaker.D 7 років тому

    I actually am going to try this. The only thing I would do different is id use one block in a big storage container you use two it would be so much easier to pull the repti chip apart When I first started with repti chip the direction were way off and my substrate was to wet and started to mold quick this way it looks like it really works perfect Great video!

    got the breeder block I only have 4 cages can I mix this whole block up like this and keep left over in tub with a lid on it? This will last me long long time. Or is there a better way for me to use smaller amount

  • @jferg89
    @jferg89 7 років тому

    how many cb70 rubs can you fill out of one brick? How often do you typically change out this bedding on average in those tubs

    • @bethanygunnels1337
      @bethanygunnels1337 7 років тому

      I was able to do 4 CB 70 tubs and 2, 4'x2' pvc cages.. So it probably works out to 6 tubs at a depth of 1.5". I just started using mine and have not had to change it out (other than spot check) yet.

  • @christielicea6442
    @christielicea6442 Рік тому

    Stupid questions. What about non breeders? If you prepare the whole block how long does it last sitting there to be used? We have 1 BP and use reptichip but been having the HARDEST time chipping out what we actually need for one tank clean

  • @raphymartinez
    @raphymartinez 7 років тому

    Dem biceps though ! :)

  • @kurtilein3
    @kurtilein3 7 років тому +1

    The flipping of the block will just slow down the process, because now the bubbles have to go in the opposite direction. Just let the water come in at the bottom and let the bubbles work their way to the top. Also you could try not pushing it down all the way, just so that it is submerged, because if you push the flat bottom of the brick against the flat bottom of the sink, water cannot really creep in from the bottom.

    Great video. Now if only there was a say to find this stuff at a better price. I know that some people (you included, I'm sure) get bulk pricing, but this stuff is quite expensive for the regular owner. I do like the product though and so far my collection seems to be doing well on it.

    I got a breeder block and since I don't have an industrial sink, I used my tub. It all fell apart within a minute. I should've looked at the date and the most recent comments.

      I always count to 10 but also judge by how it feels, and will pull it out sooner than 10 if it seems to be expanding more quickly.

      Hi Justin, I have a question not related to pythons. I was wondering if you can refer me to someone that's into doing logos? I have a personal logo sketched on paper that I would like to bring to life if possible. I just don't know who does that kind of work so that I can have printed on my business card etc.

    There is a better way keep it in the pack slit the top open on both sides leave the handle on and fill both sides up about half way.... it absorbs the perfect amount and cut open and break apart in a bin

  • @ov_fatal_vo
    @ov_fatal_vo 5 років тому

    But if you do it like Reptichips suggests there is no mess, and it ends up right in the tote. Just put it in the tote upside down. Cut 2 slits across the top of the bag. Take the label out, and fill with water. Let sit 2 minutes, cute across 2 long sides and 1 short side of top, then flip over. Let sit for about 4 to 5 minutes, cut open and done.

    dude i love justin hes the reason i got into ball pythons and genes i love the Science behind it all and the fact he just said "IF YOU DONT LIKE ME OR MY CONTENT PLEASE DONT SUBSCRIBE DONT LIKE" ....BASICALLY JUST DONT WATCH Hes not out here for a popularity contest hes just a guy who loves snakes and loves to share his info to who ever WANTS TO LISTEN .him and ozzy are a cut above the rest . you can tell just by holding a conversation with these men. other breeders have this Arrogance about them like there better than you but they for get A: this is a hobby B:this is a tiny nitch in the world and C: come on just because you have been doing longer doesn't necessarily make you the best its your product and knowledge that speaks for it self
