Khalilullah is the ayah , doesn’t mean best friend here , it’s a rank called Khillah and Allah gave it only to Muhammad peace be upon him and to Ibrahim peace be upon him. Khalil comes in the meaning of close friend in Arabic but in the ayah doesn’t mean a friend.
Muslim means submitting your will to almighty Allah. He was the first person to call himself a Muslim. So anyone who submits to the will of Allah is Muslim. He gave this name to us.
The covering of kaabah was just a sign of honoring. The first king who (dressed it up) is the Yemeni Tubba ( تبع) of Himyar. The cover itself wasn't black it came in different colors but for long time it got this gorgeous black color with golden embroidered verses
Zamzam isn't a general name for holy water. Zamzam is a specific name for that water that comes of that spring.

3:50 it is to protect it from the elements it was added later on, and has changed colors multiple time like red, green, white, and black, it doesn't have to be black, but it has become iconic so it has stayed that way also it is changed i forgot when, and by changed i mean like same pattern same colors just a new clean cloth, i think the cloth is changed when everybody is at ara'fa i forgot how it's spelled in english the arabic is عرفة, it doesn't have to be changed at the time of عرفة but it is so that they don't have to stop people from tawaf or hajj because everyone is away.

For your question about naming us Muslims, yes it is in the Quran, he named us Muslims "submitters to the will of Allah",

He rebuilt the Kaaba. The black curtains are just drapes over the block work and are a decorative element added by people later on. The Kaaba is blocks and is considered a symbol of gathering for Muslims.

When prophet Ibrahim left his wife Hajar with his baby son Ismail in the desert (by Allah's command ) they were in need of water in that heat.
And so Hajar ran between the hills of Safa and Marwa seven times in search of water. She heard a voice, called out and theb saw Angel Jibreel where the Zamzam well now stands. Angel Jibreel had dug through the sand and unearthed a well of water.
This water is known as Zamzam water as Hajar called out “Zom! Zom!” (Stop! Stop!) as the water kept following, in fear it would run out.
Zamzam water has many benefits with healing, health and considered a blessing for Muslims. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
“The water of Zamzam is (good) for whatever it is intended.” (Sahih Muslim)

The story you said in the beginning about Ibrahim a.s from Christian perspective is the same in Islam. I believe black cover is just to protect Kabba. During time of prophet s.a.w.s it was covered in white cloth. Also, when Umar ibn Al-Khattab (RA) was asked: "O Umar, why don't you clothe the kaaba with silk?" He said: "The stomachs of Muslims are a priority." This is not the case today, unfortunately they spend so much money on Kaba cover and Muslims in their neighbourhood countries are dying from hunger 😢. Also, when prophet Ibrahim a.s left his wife and child in desert and they didn't have any food of water. She started running around and then saw angel digging well till water started. As there was much water coming out, she started saying zam zam, which is arabic word for stop. She wanted water to stop 😊

As for your question I am guessing it is hard to give one answer, I guess some will be happy, most don't like that (afraid of change), some have negative stereotype about the faith, some women may think "as long as this "thing" keep him loyal to me, and away from other temptation it is great" etc.. many type of people.
@@SaytImam92 well, I am single and haven’t been practicing any religion for awhile, have studied other religions after being raised “Christian” so it’s hard for me to say, but I can imagine if both people were practicing one religion then one began researching another, I would at least be curious enough to start researching myself because although I would trust my partners judgement, I would also want to know what has piqued his interest so much about it and if one is practicing another faith, how will this impact our lives.
It is not taboo or frowned upon to research other religions, I guess depending on one’s current faith and practices, I would assume that is an individual thing.

Seeing Of Allah
Dear brothers in Islam,
Allah ta^ala said: للذِيْنَ أَحْسَنُوا الحُسْنَى وَزِيَادَة
This Ayah means:>.
The Seeing of Allah by the People of Paradise (Al-Jannah) is true, without their vision being all-encompassing and without a manner of being. As the Book of our Lord has expressed it: وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ * إِلَى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ
These Ayahs mean: “Faces on that Day radiant, looking at their Lord”. [al-Qiyamah].
The explanation of this is as Allah knows and wills. Everything that has come down to us about this from the Messenger, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, in the Sahih Hadith (authentic sayings), is as he said and means what he intended. We do not delve into that with baseless interpretation according to our own opinions or deluding ourselves by unsound inclinations. No one is safe in his Religion unless he submits himself completely to Allah, the Exalted and Glorified and to His Messenger, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, and leaves the knowledge of things that are ambiguous to the one who knows them.
People of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama^ah said: While the believers are in Paradise, Allah enables them to see Him without Allah being in a place or direction and without Allah having a shape or a volume. Allahsubhanahu wata^ala exists without a place because Allah is not a body as Allah mentioned in the Qur’an which means: >. Delusions do not encompass Allah and whatever you imagine in your mind Allahdoes not resemble it.
Dear brothers,
There is absolutely no greater endowment to the people of Paradise than the endowment of seeing Allah. It was narrated that some will see Allah once a week and others will see Him twice a day and that depends on their ranks in Paradise.
Al-Bukhariyy, Muslim and others narrated that the Prophet peace be upon him said: .
It should be noted that in no way the Prophet meant to draw a similarity between Allah and the moon, rather, the Prophet meant to emphasise that the seeing of Allah is a true matter without any doubt.
In the end, we ask Allah to grant us Paradise and make our end as righteous Muslims Ameen.
As far as we know, Allah SW did not reveal Himself to any one for it is going to be the greatest reward for the believers when Allah SW reveal Himself to the them in the heaven.
He Spoke to Moses PBUH directly. Muhammad PBUH was the closest one to see Allah SW in the night journey, but there was a vail of light that he couldn’t see and he did not gaze around.
{The sight (of Prophet Muhammad SAW) turned not aside (right or left), nor it transgressed beyond (the) limit (ordained for it)} 53:17

You have to start from the beginning where Prophet Abraham was rewarded with a slave named Hajar by his wife Sarah because he had not had children for a long time. and after that Hajar became Abraham's second wife and was blessed with a child named Ishmael. Sarah became very jealous and then there was an order from Allah to move Hajar with Ishmael who was still a baby to the city of Mecca from Jerusalem. After arriving in the city of Mecca, which was still an empty desert without residents, Hajar and Ishmael were left alone, even though Abraham left him with a heavy heart. that's where the history of zam zam water appears. After being left behind, Hajar ran out of supplies and she was confused and ran from the barren hills of Sofa and Marwa because she saw a mirage. until finally he gave up. But a miracle happened, Ishmael's legs were struggling or there was another history that Gabriel struck his staff and the well of Zam Zam appeared. You can read this story in Sirah Nabawiyah where the history of the city of Mecca and the building of the Kaaba
Islam means “submission to the will of God” all the prophet from Adam a.s till Muhammed s.a.w.s were Muslims and only chosen religion by Allah is Islam which Allah says in Quran as well.

When the black stone is mentioned , how beautiful it was , this can misguided or mislead , we are worshipping the black stone . I hope they explain more why is the black stone came about . We all know , it is the direction muslims are worshipping , which until today the strong unity of muslims is beacuse this direction .muslims are not worshipping the black stone , rather it is the direction for unity . If you are in the middle of no where , you dont know the direction , you can choose any direction and pray .
God is not testing Ibraham, since god is all knowing, but god wants to demonstrate to humans and Satan three major things that were horrible practices:
1- that believers never sacrifice another human to god.
2- that Satan is defeated when god tested his believer, because Satan told god, when you really test humans they will all ALL always fail.
3- that believers follow the commands of god without questions, yet god would never ask them for something that is beyond their capacity, and will always find them a good exit from their trouble

Khalilullah doesn’t mean a friend here. It’s ranked which were given by Allah to only two messengers ( Muhammad and Ibrahim) peace be upon them and upon all of their brothers from the prophets and messengers . Al Khillah is a special rank . Khalil can also be a friend but not in Khalilullah

No brother this black cloth was not put by Ibrahim pbuh on the holy kaaba it was later on put by other Muslim kings from different parts of the world and it was not not always black there were different colors for example white,yellow,red,green and blue but the last one was black and it's not changed by anyone till today❤

Allah can’t be seen in this life . Only the people of Jannah ( heaven ) will be able to see Allah ( the one who doesn’t resemble any of his creations) .
