Ironic that Narcissus' character art isn't done yet. Picturing his ghost hovering over the model artist's shoulder like "Start again, not handsome enough!"
Gotta say, it's a pure joy and really awesome to see you going to attack one enemy in Erebus, pausing to briefly smack a tree behind you in order to kill an enemy somewhere back there before smoothly continuing on to bash the one in front of you. I've yet to see a runner do that and it's so cool every time you do!
am I the only one that saw some kind of wings when Chronos spoke to Melinoe after she finished the asphodel challenge?? also what a great way to use old assets from Hades in the new game, I can already picture Mel getting teleported to the house of Hades and interacting with some twisted versions (that Chronos created to get in her head) of the Underworld family
These are great ideas and I do think we'll get glimpses of the Underworld this way. Based off the trailer, we are going up on Olympus, not the Underworld. This was a way of shooting two birds with one stone. The wings, I might've missed.
On my break, thx for the advices. Either the band members can't die prior to Scylla going impervious, or they are just worth two Lernie's each. Either way, I wouldn't have felt convinced the band members were killable the way they were eating my attacks, appreciate it much!
Oh man, now that we know Chronos can take us to parts of the Underworld that Zagreus journeyed through in the past, I wonder if there's gonna be a weird situation where Melinoe runs into her own brother, who has no idea who she is since she hasn't been born yet.
That would be so interesting! If it's truly Zagreus she finds, he would hear her out and they could plot something together. Otherwise, it would just serve as a moment they could learn each other, very much like Zag's limited time in learning about his mother.
I can never tell what the heck is going on in Eris's head. She's not working for Kronos, but she thinks she's helping us? Then again, this is Eris. I might just be overthinking things.
Eris might be one of those people who thinks she's helping with what she does but still causes problems. In her mind maybe she frames it as "hardship allows people to become stronger", or something. Or she legitimately thinks her spells are helpful cuz that's just her logic.
@@sterlingglover7448 She could be delusional ^ Or she could be putting a similar test like Hecate, and if you can't pass Oceanus with her curse, then you're not ready.
From what was stablished, all children of Nyx serve the underworld one way or another. The way she phrases it, she isnt giving you "blessings" to spite Melinoë or because she works for Chronos, it may be more in like with "Strife makes people strong". She may sense when Mel is ready to face Chronos once and for all and maybe we arent yet ready. Her "blessings" ensure that what we arent just relying on the boons of the olympians but in our own skill too. Then again its _Eris_ so how can i be sure
I don't think they'd make the second boss so mechanically heavy, it's similar to the hydra the main head spawns the others and becomes impervious until they're defeated and you can resume. It's most likely the same here, she goes clam mode and you defeat her bandmates first.
That makes the most sense now in hindsight ^ They're definitely more tankier than the baby hydra heads. I felt my build on the second run was peak with the heart throbs, but they ate it all up and were still up to fight. I came to the conclusion that they had no health bar, silly me.
If Nemesis has the sword, and Eris the gun… does that mean we might see Talos with the gauntlets? Or even Achilles getting the spear back or Chaos weilding their Shield?
LOL you're not the first about the hammer. But I take your point ^ they were rather necessary in Hades 1. They could be in Hades 2 as well, I just feel there's more weird hammer choices than a pom.
i think you defeat scylla's band members first before you can defeat scylla herself. she's 1/8 health when scylla's the only one left. saw it on others runs here in youtube.

@@couragew6260 that's really cool if that's the case. I already feel the difficulty increased significantly compared to Hades' Asphodel. The Region 2 for each game is not equivalent and I like it. Based off my run 2, which was my best build, it didn't look like they were phased by the numbers I was putting. I thought I was missing something lol. At the very least, I have their attack pattern down haha.

I noticed that on my 4th run lol, after learning the attack patterns. If we were to compare to Lernie, every head had their own health bar. Even Theseus and the Minotaur had two separate health bars. This is the first where they all share health, which makes sense as three bars would be much on the screen. And mechanically seems different than just a mere health. It’s to trigger their solo.
