Something that I learned many many moons ago…. abbreviated to the word SOFTEN…
    S - Smile
O - Open posture (sitting or standing)
    F - Forward lean (don’t fall over)
    T - Tilt head slightly
E - Eye contact (no staring)
N - Nod (like a soft yes I hear you)
    Has
Made the difference in a lot of conversations. Just a slightly different list, but perhaps a little more welcoming.
Your points are well taken though.
Still being occasionally cheeky. Very attractive

Body language is called body language, because it represents what's in you. It's your body doing the talking about who you are, and how you stand on any given topic. For example, somebody might slouch and look like they don't have confidence, because they really don't have confidence.
There's no faking it. If you want confidence, do martial arts. Learn it. Get good. You'll get in shape doing it. See what happens to your body language. Exercise your people skills too. This isn't something people can fake.
    Good video.

Good rundown on the basics of body language. Strong voice is one which doesn't get a lot of attention in men's advice circles, from what I've seen. I know the power of this one. Back in high school (long before the age of the cell phone, slightly past the cups-and-string era), I remember calling a friend's house to see if he wanted to play ball. His sister picked up the house phone and passed it to him after I asked for him. Later, I found out that she got the shivers (in a good way) from the sound of my voice on the phone and wanted to know who it was. Since then, I have learned the power of a good, masculine voice while public speaking. A strong voice can help in sales, persuasion, and relationships. It is really something which just about any man can master, with excellent results. Hoping your increased animation is reflective of increased energy and not mere affectation. Praying for you. -- Russ P PS/Mr. T is awake to wag at you today, from the bright sunlight but blustery cold near DC.

My strong, masculine voice is definitely underrated today. Maybe because there’s so much texting going on now. That’s why leaving a voice message can be so impactful. Good shivers are always a good thing! Lol and yes I am feeling better. Thank you! Scratch for Mr. T. God bless you, Russ!.

Anna I've watched dozens of your videos on what guys should do to attract quality women and maintain relationships. I'm just wondering what's in it for guys. It seems like all the work and responsibility is placed on the guy. Perhaps you could do more videos on what guys should expect from women and when to cut losses and walk away. Have you herd the saying "women will do anything to get a guy and nothing to keep him". There needs be equal give and take to maintain a relationship. I really appreciate you explaining how and why women think, behave and respond. My behavior with women is different now that I understand them better. I have forgiven everybody for everything and I'm receptive to. yet another relationship but I would be just as happy alone or maybe friends with benefits would be better. Maybe you could talk about friends with benefits? You have a new spark of happiness that make me think you are in a new relationship!!

Walk with purpose caught my attention.
Taking longer strides with good posture shows confidence. Head up and eyes taking it all in, shows you are open and approachable!
Walking with short steps or in a way indicating you are lost, or unsure where you are going, not sure you belong there, is not showing confidence.
The kind of women who are drawn to insecure men are most likely insecure themselves. Nothing is more attractive in anyone, than confidence!

Walking with purpose, head up and eyes taking in what's happening around you....that is the same training I received to avoid becoming a crime victim. So, it serves two purposes. A quick summary is "Walk like you have somewhere to be and you know where that place is."

As a man builds confidence, he will do a lot of these behaviors unconsciously. Another kind of body language women love is a man working and winning at whatever he chooses to do. It could be working on his car; plowing a field; or nailing a song on a musical instrument (extra points for learning a song just for her). Of all your tips, smiling is the one that really works for me. I've attracted a lot of women by just smiling at them. Some women have even thanked me for smiling at them; it makes them feel good about themselves even if you're not romantically interested in them. I like to smile at all kinds of people, not just women. Who knows? You may just save a life by smiling at someone who is depressed and considering ending his or her life. As far as celebrities go, I tend to favor strong, real me of the past: Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable, Sean Connery, etc., men who can laugh in the face of death. These are men to emulate, and women love them. Here's my favorite gesture: 🤘.

His Italian American family used it to ward off evil. In Italian culture the horn is considered to be good luck and protection from harm. Have you seen jewelry that Italians wear with a single horn? It has become the rock music salute and means "rock on". As a Christian man, I approve of this hand gesture, and I use it in both ways to ward off evil and to rock on. @@YourWingmam Badass girls trying pretend they are the only god(desses) which could be interpreted as toxic masculinity labeled as the feral feminism. I was thinking about this subject how it related to forgiveness and the way men/women forgive themselves and others. The haters who can’t forgive appear to have their work cut out. Most people don’t realize giving a smile (as said above) pays more dividends than anything. Simple kindnesses give a message of safety to “mainstream” people. Great to be on guard for keeping safe and avoiding danger, being hyper vigilant always, is stressful. Having every living moment tainted by fear or paranoia (and blaming too many) is all or nothing/or what if’s? And trying to forecast, and be in control all the time, whether it’s an unhealthy compulsion or an obsession is also gonna take a toll. Quiet confidence with authority can also include strong pauses to get listeners to focus, command attention

I have no problem with rejection but I just wish that women had been clear about whether or not it was a rejection. I have come to accept that if someone is vague or evasive or cancels too many times or reschedules a lot that is a rejection. I knew this one woman and she was very clear about our connection and she was also at a business I would visit out of town that my company dealt with so our paths would cross on occasion. She was clear she wanted to be friendly and I thought that was great. She lived far away and it would be long distance relationship and I did not want to go there. I was happy to be friends and we stayed friends till she sadly passed away. That was a good example of how honesty between people can lead to positive results.

Posture, and moving like you know what you're doing (or "own the place") is crucial just all the time...city folk (like me) know that looking like you're aimless, unsure, or not really committed to your movement is an excellent way to attract muggings, opportunists, and hucksters. Scammers and other people you want to avoid see someone who isn't laser focused as a possible 'mark'; "this person can be distracted, they could be waylaid" with something like "excuse me sir, have you ever...". You gotta be the person they already know would walk right past them without a glance. Do this *even when* you're momentarily unsure...if you take a wrong turn, you take that f'n turn like you know exactly what you're doing. And yeah for some reason people (not just women) find this trait attractive. Good tips!

While walking to work one morning, a woman walking in the opposite direction was yawning so I decided to over emphise her yawning, she then had a huge smile on her face. We did not stop to interact further, for me is was just a good start to the day ahead. Next morning, I saw her again, she was smiling from ear to ear as she knew who was coming her way. This time we did stop and interact. We chatted together for about 20 min and I asked if she would like a coffee, we sat together for another hour. She was way too young for me so I did not want this to become a relationship. She did tell me her attraction to me was my stance and confident demener with her. About 3 weeks later I did not see her again and I hope she is doing well.

Body language is just your physical expressions, if you’re adjusting yourself as a shortcut to make other people like you, you will come across as try-hard. You should focus on being purposeful, relaxed, healthy, and in full command of your whole self. Then on the outside it will show.

Next I would suggest taking dance lessons to improve your body language. Yes, this will require you to get out of your comfort zone but the benefits are worth it in many ways! Good talk, green screen needs to be adjusted a little because it leaves funny looking holes in your hair sometimes . Maybe this only happens with larger high quality monitors from workstations that give a sharp clear picture . It's funny that a lot of guys need to man up -- I agree -- but women need to women up too . A lot of sons probably missed things like stand up straight etc from their mothers . My mother wasn't very big but she could make you behave and carry yourself properly with the simple twisting of your ear .It never damaged anything but it worked on myself and my brothers . I think my mom could grab me by the ear from maybe a hundred yards .

Hey Anna, in a recent vid you pointed out some of your commenters were simping on you and that you would much rather have some feedback on the vids..... well, here you go. :) I think your "key points" should be more succinct, more like a five-word summary rather than like a second paragraph, continuation, or restatement of what was just said, Tell 'em what you're going to tell them (check), tell them (check), tell them what you just told them (nope -- you just repeated yourself with different words).
The dog walker story -- spot on. Dogs need, not want but need, their owners to be the pack leader and, in my experience, people who have a knack with dogs have just as much knack with people.
I love your vids and am subscribed because I once had visions of a similar channel and was going to pirate you for inspiration. I'm active on a couple of discussion sites that are predominantly populated with men and sometimes find myself drawn into giving advice... hence the idea of starting my own channel. Consider this Anna. I’m almost 60 snd have had no shortage of beautiful women in my life for short and long term relationships. I’m not always the most masculine guy. I’m 5’9” and 145 lb and have been told by some women that I have feminine traits sometimes while at the same time very masculine traits. It doesn’t happen as much now, I think because of age, but I use to get a lot of beautiful women noticing me. I cross my legs all the time like a women does.
Do you think you might be projecting some of your own values, cultural assumptions and beliefs on these matters? Like, you personally like more “masculine men”, examples of actors and body builders you give.
Definitely don’t slouch though. Do yoga.

I have been watching your videos and others for tips. I am Autistic, am 41, and have never been in any sort of relationship. Both parents are gone and I don't have siblings or any family support structure. I get pretty lonely, so I have decided to start trying to date. I am just testing the waters right now and trying to learn what I am doing. I don't read any kind of signals from anyone very well, so I certainly appreciate your videos.
As far as fidgeting goes; what if you're Autistic and you stim?
Suppressing it and trying to mask is very difficult and masking might make me uncomfortable and ill at ease. Stims look strange to most neurotypicals, women included and can be troubling to some. I have been made fun of for hand rubbing and hand flapping both before.
Letting them know up front is one way to handle it I guess. Anyone who would have a relationship with me would need to know that anyway.

I've tried many of these things and still I've never met a woman that wanted to marry me. But don't get me wrong. It's not the advice that's the problem. This happens when you're constantly testing and not believing their declaration of love for you until, emotionally exhausted they have to leave the relationship to save themselves which allows you to say "I knew you'd leave." And after this you pat yourself on the back for being right.
    Hurt people hurt people.
Meh. Think of me as collateral damage.
ANYWAY.....The young lady giving these tips seems to really know her stuff and good luck to those still in the game.

OK. Let me HONESTLY look at the 9 things you mentioned...
    Avoid slouching.
Problem. I slough because of being worn out from work. Tired. I do pay attention to it and correct myself when I catch myself doing it.
    Bold eye contact
Yes. But not for a long g period of time. Cannot stare.
    Purposeful gestures with arms
I use face expressions more. How can I make arm gesture when they are crossed?
    Avoid crossing arms.
    Oh. Right.
    Take up space.
Not sure. I definitely do not roll myself up in a ball, but I do not take up too much space where I stand.
    Smile.
I try. Bell's Palsy got me. I do have a smirk. I have been trying, but difficult. Been a rough many years with letdown in failed attempts for relationships. I am better when I am talking. I tend to joke and laugh a bit.
    Walk with purpose.
Not bragging, but yes...especiallywhen I go to the store to get that bag of Cool Ranch Doritos and an Ice Tea......except after a rough that at work.
    Strong voice.
My voice can be loud and carry a bit. Does that count?
    Mirror her body language
    Not sure.
    NO FIDGETING.
only when I am sitting at a concert in uncomfortable chairs.
I already know that wonen enjoy being around me.
Remember the one thing that I do socially?
    Argentine Tango Dancing.
    It does happen occasionally, BUT......
Only a few times has a lady say NOT INTERESTED when I ask them if they would dance a Tanda with me, despite my not perfect dancing skills.

2:23 😂 it’s a show of the times, “ no you’re not going to jail for making eye contact”
There is a difference, a very fine difference between bowl, confident I contact, and a creepy stare.
Though the truth is the difference between bold eye contact and a creepy state is usually how attractive she finds you . And they have been studies, and is that a woman has decided you’re creepy long before you actually took action to confirm that you’re creepy.
There was just something about you where she’s stuck you in that box
That said, Anna is still right by her, not appreciating you look she has disqualified herself from being a potential interest to you …. Not necessarily a negative for her person , just she is not for you.
