Used this today during a "cutscene" moment in a D&D session; the players have been working for an entity they don't know much about, that resides in a dark void, but as a result of all they'd done for it, it had managed to summon something else (the Dreamer, a primeval deity of blood and murder) into the void to destroy it.
After the players weakened it enough the "Voice in the Dark" intervened to finish off the Dreamer and take its powers. So it was a pretty epic moment and needed suitably epic music. "Paint in Black" just fit nicely, and this version was absolutely perfect for the timing and drama of what I was describing.
