Mama does NOT need to be embarrassed at all about that fall. She was dancing so hard and leading her squad. Got back up, put her hair in place, and put a smile back on her face. Great job ladies, and amazing job to both bands.

@@shunnlf SC State alum here. I’m also a long time Dallas Cowboys fan. So much respect to Deion for putting the spotlight on HBCU’s. We knew the mainstream was all about Deion but SC STATE been here for a looong time. All the way back to Marion Motley, Deacon Jones, Donnie Shell, Harry Carson, Dexter Clinkscales, Orlando Zeus Brown, Robert Porcher, and even today with Darius Leonard. And while Walter Payton might just be my all time favorite player, we Bulldogs take no back seat to no one! We wasn’t there to be Deion’s co-star!

In my opinion, they should’ve had both teams on level ground and not some on a concrete slab and others on grass. As you can see, sometimes Amber’s feet was touching the grass and that concrete slab. She could’ve really been hurt and she fell on her rear end (hard) on that concrete‼️‼️ That pissed me off like she was my daughter‼️ They should’ve made the crowd go back, to make sure everyone would be safe!! JSU and SCS … Thee I 💙‼️‼️‼️

I see this all the time with JSettes unis and a few other squads. Some of those old uni's are out dated and stretched out. I know tradition is sacred but they should at least have them remade or not wear them at all... Make room for the new uni's to thrive.
@@velvetsowell4151 funny thing is this uniform is only a few years old and they’ve only worn it a few times. The material is either cheap or the uniform is just ill fitting…but I will say the girls were much thicker when this uniform was debuted
I really don't blame them for pulling and tugging because you can feel when something about to fall out and a lot of them had a few close calls.

The SCSU Marching 101 used to the same size or perhaps larger in numbers as the Boom in the past. They need to stop cutting the HBCU band budgets. I think that wil change after today's win by the SCSU team.
People need to get out of the mindset of bigger always being better. There are some huge bands that sound like trash.

Why didn't South Carolina face Jackson directly? Jackson state blew them out the water simply because south Carolina state had their backs toward the opposing band .. like they always say, never turn your back on your enemy
Jackson State blew who out the water? The size of the band does not automatically equate a win, and Jackson State lost this battle, and deep down inside, you know it, but you'll never admit it, and I am not going to even talk about the football game. I'm not going to do you like that.

I'm not usually one to comment on videos where one band is 2-3 times bigger than the other bc I feel it's a moot point, but since there's a lot of RIDICULOUSNESS going on these comments, LET ME ADD MY 2 CENTS!!
From where the video was shot, you can't accurately judge SCSU's sound in the FIRST place; you LITERALLY hear nothing but percussion! When you DO hear them, it's a chord here or a phrase there. DEFINITELY not enough to judge ANYTHING on. IDC, about volume; if you sound good, YOU SOUND GOOD.
All they had to do was ACTUALLY face JSU for an honest comparison, BUT THEY DIDN'T, and that's WHY you can't judge this video fairly. Anybody who disagrees is OBVIOUSLY BIASED for SCSU.

These Dance teams need to choreograph some short dance routines and stop performing stands counts, you are not in stands! Notice how Alabama's Crimsonettes perform short dance routines.
