I'm learning this one, and like others, came to you to learn that damn intro! I almost prefer your version over the album, loving your skills man! Can't wait to get it down 😊
So after watching this video about 15 times over the past 2 months i have to say, "Great Chops! Great Cover!". Always nice to see another PRS player. My semi-hollow body SE Custom is my absolute favorite guitar. More videos please :)
Thank you! PRS are such great instruments :) The SE series are amazing value for the money, I can totally understand why you love that guitar! I've been super busy lately, but I do hope to record more videos soon.
I'm speechless...!!! I started this song today on rocksmith 2014. Just been playing for about 2 weeks and I'm miles away from your level but I want to be able to do that no matter how long it takes! You must feel awesome when you nailed this song !
Thanks! I've been playing for almost 12 years, keep at it! You'll get there through constant hard work over a lot of time :) Every song you enjoy feels awesome to play!
Have you gotten better??? I'm only at 21% with this song on R/S. played R/S on n off for a couple years. Playing every day now, for the past few months
Flawless! I tried to learn this song with Rocksmith 2014, but it's waaaaay tooo hard, and still I find this perfect cover. Congrats, champs, you're a monster!
Other than the harmonics, which are difficult if you're like me and dont play a lot of songs with harmonics, it's similar to the way you play this on bass.
@@guntruckfella653 thats exactly what im doing lol. Im only at 21% on this song hahaha. Playing RockSmith every day for the past few months or so. no other past skills. got many more years before i can play this
Awesome cover! Absolutely nailed the tone & distortion. How'd you do it?? I'm playing a PRS 24 custom into a HD500, and would like to recreate this as a preset. Any help would be appreciated!
I've got a question regarding tapping. I can tap very well with my index finger exclusively but obviously that gets in the way of picking when alternating play styles for different riffs. Would you suggest getting used to tapping exclusively with the middle or ring finger? And if so, is there any technical advantage, perhaps regarding human anatomy and the way our hands are wired, to selecting one over the other? Any replies are much appreciated. This cover is SUPERB. And I really dig the way it's mixed, panning the two audio samples to opposite ends of the audio space. It really allows the listener to hear your cover with remarkable clarity. Well done man.
Gerald Wiseman I personally use my middle finger because I think it is the 'strongest' one which comes in handy while tapping. To get used to tapping with other fingers you just have to practice it. Try hitting spot on, and hard, and let it ring before pulling off. Good luck!
nice work! by the way, does it sound good recording multi-track projects at Bandhub? I routinely can record electric guitar. Both of us should unite at that website! This must be splendid!
Than you! My only advice is practice REAL SLOW and focus on muting every string that you don't want to ring, that's the key, either with your right or your left hand. Keep at it! :)
Hi! Because I live in an appartment, I had to record this straight to the computer with Amplitube. I used a little compression, some overdrive and a bit of delay.
Hi! I'm using the Amplitube software, I made a patch with some overdrive and a bit of delay, pretty straightforward :) I probably used a little bit of compression too.
Oliss Hi Oliss, great cover. Can you give me any tips on how to record with Amplitube? I know I can record the audio, but what about the video? I guess I could use an external video recorder and then sync the video and audio. Is that what you have done? Thanks...
Shinobu Rirukage I know I'm not Oliss, but that's basically how everyone does covers. You record the audio with a camera and then sync the audio with the video in a video editing program. Hope this helped.
Hey man i love this song so much but honestly don't have the time to figure out the tab by ear.... could you maybe upload the tab or sumthin pleeez. You have an awesome cat btw!
So you are basically Dave Knudson reincarnated with long hair... Is that the same kind of guitar he uses? I like this cover a lot. You should check out my cover of MTB's new song Riddles from their album Acoustics II. Riddles (Feat. Minus the Bear)
Hey! Thanks man! Good cover and nice impressions of the MTB guys by the way :) It's the same brand (PRS) but not the same model. I've been playing them since before I was a MTB fan though! And I'm an impostor, I don't have 4 delay/looper pedals on my board :P
Absolutely beautiful man. I'm currently watching this on my 18th birthday and its put me in such a good mood for the rest of my day.
Every time I watch this, I get mesmerized by the fingers. So much finger work and the finished product is awesome.
I was mesmerized by the cat o.o
I'm learning this one, and like others, came to you to learn that damn intro! I almost prefer your version over the album, loving your skills man! Can't wait to get it down 😊
Thanks! Have fun practicing it, I know I certainly had a good time... and quite a few blisters :)
You nailed this cover. Please make more covers of minus the bear :)
This song looks like it's really fun to play.
Bom demais jovem. Não se ouve falar muito desta música mas, acho ela excelente. Parabéns pela execução milimétricamente perfeita!
best part 1:20, cat agrees. awesome cover
Love the cat sleeping on the mat!
Best MTB cover on UA-cam. Nicely done.
That's an honor I'm not quite sure I deserve! Thanks :)
How does that sound so clear!? Very good cover.
Because the audio is mixed with a 50/50 split. Left ear is the cover. Right ear is the backing track.
Very impressive. Precision and expertise on display here. Also, uninterested cat is uninterested. Keep it up!
you just f****** killed that
I love playing the bass to this... showing my guitar buddy so he can learn it and then KITTY! bad ass shredding man
Good job, man. I dig the cool cat hanging out in the back too. Very nice!

I laughed so hard when the cat looked up.

Amazing
Flawless! I tried to learn this song with Rocksmith 2014, but it's waaaaay tooo hard, and still I find this perfect cover. Congrats, champs, you're a monster!
Thanks! Take your time with it, it's not an easy one to get into if you haven't previously worked on the techniques involved :)
Other than the harmonics, which are difficult if you're like me and dont play a lot of songs with harmonics, it's similar to the way you play this on bass.
Great job mang.
excellent!
Amazing I'm trying to learn this song and watching you is great!

Sounds awesome. Love the cat in the background lol.

Holy shit best cover
Beautiful cover man very clean and fun to listen.
Awesome job! I just started playing and can only hope to get half that good.
Thanks! Keep at it, take things slowly and you will see great progress over the years :)
Timothy Doolittle Actually, spending over 100 hours on rocksmith 2014 in one week for 2 months straight works to. Plus, THEY HAVE THIS SONG
@@guntruckfella653 thats exactly what im doing lol. Im only at 21% on this song hahaha. Playing RockSmith every day for the past few months or so. no other past skills. got many more years before i can play this
great job. dude
Well done.

That was flawless!!! Congrats!
You rock dude.

Dude, what's that for a wonderful guitar?? btw, awesome cover, your tapping is so clean man :D
Amazing! you worked this out by ear too?
Thank you! Yes, and I slowed it down a little bit to help me figure it out.
beautiful cover ...
Awesome job dude. I've been trying to get this track down for a bit. Such a great song, Great work.
I've got a question regarding tapping. I can tap very well with my index finger exclusively but obviously that gets in the way of picking when alternating play styles for different riffs. You may try to pick with the tumb and middle finger when tapping, it might work as a substitute of using middle finger to tap
kino the mystic- I have rock smith and I was playing this earlier this morning
Bravo
U R great!! I'm trying to do this one on Bass guitar
Epic
Great cover sir.
Great job !! :)
This was a masterclass in precision and technique dude. You definitely did Dave Knudson proud! Any chance you could tab this out someday?
fire
I'd kill for a tab of this
Great cover
Tu es vraiment doué. Je travail actuellement ce morceaux et je me rends compte de la difficulté de cette vidéo !!

👌
nice work! by the way, does it sound good recording multi-track projects at Bandhub? I routinely can record electric guitar. Both of us should unite at that website! This must be splendid!
are you using a noisegate , or any noise supressor to mute out unwanted string noise ??
Hi Snake! No, all potential string noise is only muted by both the left and right hands. :)
This Is Amazing! But what tuning is it in?
Thanks! It's in Drop D. :)
I heard it is in E standard
its standard
Hey dude, awesome cover, how do you do the taps in the intro so clean...? im trying but it's just not clean at all :*(
Than you! My only advice is practice REAL SLOW and focus on muting every string that you don't want to ring, that's the key, either with your right or your left hand. Keep at it! :)
I didn’t know Charlie could play guitar
какую используешь педаль эффектов? (what effects pedal?)
Hi! Because I live in an appartment, I had to record this straight to the computer with Amplitube. I used a little compression, some overdrive and a bit of delay.
puto genio!!! fucking Genious!!!
After I noticed his cat on the top left... I ccouldn't take my eyes off of it.
this guy looks kinda like Matthew Chevalier of Tiny Moving Parts
What pedals you usin mate?
Hi! I'm using the Amplitube software, I made a patch with some overdrive and a bit of delay, pretty straightforward :) I probably used a little bit of compression too.

My cat says "thanks"! Unfortunately I did not write down the song, it's all memorized. I'll send some brain-waves in your general direction!

Sombody just uploaded the tabs to ultimate guitar tab.com! haha O happy day. Props to you for being able to figure it out by ear.
wish we could hang out and teach me. i suck, but still trying
I have such a hard time with this song 😂
