- I hope you enjoyed watching my “Wild Atlantic Way” series, featuring my Royal Enfield Classic 350.
I called it the “Mini GS Adventure” due to the modifications I made to the bike enabling the Givi pannier system from my Triumph Tiger 900 to be used.
The bike performed faultlessly for the full 1,600 miles of the trip, returning an amazing average fuel economy of around 95 mpg (uk)

The accommodation varies during the trip as you will see in the upcoming episodes, definitely not all as good as the Waterfront 🤣
Looks amazing TN I really enjoy this type of video showing the coastline and your accommodation and meals,, I hope you have a breakdown of the costs involved at the end....... Scotland's NC500 accommodation prices are beyond ridiculous.....

Good morning Ian, your channel is a new find for me - I’m off to do LEJog next week not camping and thinking I may be getting a bit old for camping in the rain too! A great film, makes me want to explore the Wild Atlantic way … I’ll work my way through your back catalogue, maybe in Hotels in the West Country listening to the rain on the window 😂🤦🏼♂️

Great start to your Atlantic way tour, I have family in Dungloe and have did the tour by car 10 or so years ago great memories, stear clear of the local brew potcheen you could run the bike on it. Enjoy your self ta Bob.

Glad to see you enjoying the RE. She looks lovely. I can't imagine a more powerful bike being an improvement on roads like that. I would like to be riding there myself, possibly this summer or next year. I have a longer journey to get there (from the south of Spain).
I'm not sure about your comments about being too old to camp. I still enjoy motorcycle camping trips (aged 69). However, I prefer a hotel in inclement weather.

I’m older than you and was camping up to last year, decided to give it up now. The weather in Ireland during the trip was very cold and wet at times, camping would have been just miserable. Also it would have meant carrying loads more gear. Charging cameras and editing on the go also would have been more difficult 🤣

The perfect bike for that kind of trip and I look forward to the rest of this series. I have travelled some parts of that road about 25 years ago but in a car and might do it on the Classic one day.
I subscribe to about twenty motorcycle channels and I have to say, sadly, that the sound quality of your on-bike microphone, is by far the worst of all of them. It won`t stop me watching but it would be far more enjoyable with better sound quality.

It’s always a challenge, for me at least, to get good sound while wearing a helmet. I’ve played around with the graphic equaliser on the rest of the videos and hopefully you will hear an improvement in them 🤞
