This event is awesome! I would like to title this event as the “COMEBACK” of classic company of ROYAL ENFIELD GLORIES! Reminiscence of the lives way back in 1932 to 1972 from the classic bikers with their solid classic Royal Enfield Bikes! Brilliant organizer…. This is totally REBORN! An AWESOME VIDEO!
Brilliant video, nice to see all Royal Enfield owners and there bikes, I have had the interceptor 650, now have 350 meteor and the hunter lovely bikes. I have owned 68 bikes since I was 16 years old now 72, from sports bikes to cruisers, but you can't beat the Enfields. They are alive. Keep up the good videos I love them. All best the best, Dave in Essex.
It’s great to hear that you enjoy my videos, it’s comments like yours that make it all worthwhile. There’s something special about these little 350 Royal Enfield’s, they definitely get under your skin. So much fun from such a small package 👍
Great to hear from some of the owners. I was there myself in the car, took the kids up. Wasn't creating any content myself as I had been taking a break from the channel due to work commitments (although just in the process of starting things back up at the moment!) Weather was brilliant. Doesn't matter how many times I see any of the current RE models, they're all still eye catchers.
Hi Cal, Great to hear that you enjoyed the video, yes it was an excellent day. Great turn out of bikes and the weather certainly helped a lot. Good to hear your channels going to be back up and running, hopefully with more Enfield content 👍😁
@tigerness5555 yes indeed - I've stolen the old man's Himalayan for the Summer as he's off to Canada, so I have that for a couple of months probably. Also planning to test ride the Shotgun, Super Meteor and all the 350s as I'm shopping for my next bike too. Plan is to do a full review of them all. Looking forward to the next meet up. Hopefully will get a chat next time!
Just caught up with this one, really brilliant, wish there was a owners club near me. I will check it out. Thanks Ian, what a great day had by all, wish I had been there!!
Hi Peter Great to hear that you enjoyed the video. Yes that was a really good day at Powmill, definitely helped by the sunshine. I really enjoy interacting with the Royal Enfield community, great bunch of people and so enthusiastic about the brand 😁👍
Hi Ian, gorgeous day, lovely bikes, great chat, enthusiasm from every owner. 😊 what a fantastic atmosphere. Enjoyed the experience. Thanks. Best wishes to all. X❤
@@tigerness5555 what a lovely group of people. May the good weather continue, also Planning going to Alford, over The Cabrach, Dufftown, Aberlour, Grantown, Tomintoul,Ballater, and home.
What a great wee video, Ian, and what a nice bunch of folk who obviously love their bikes and the brand. The weather was certainly the cherry on the icing for the meet. Looking forward to your next video. Stay safe and keep smiling. 😎🌞🏍
You can feel the pride from all the owners , of there R E , great gathering of people who love bikes no ego's, great video 👍 Best wishes from the Wirral.
Hi Phil, great to hear that you enjoyed the video, you’re correct, they are a great bunch of people. You’ve just got to love the Royal Enfield world 😁👍
Great to hear that you enjoyed the video. It’s always wonderful to actually meet and talk to followers of the channel 👍😁 Unfortunately Saturday was very busy for me trying to get as much video footage as possible, this meant that I didn’t have much time to talk to everyone.
Cracking little video Ian. Nice to see all the bikes together. Everyone I spoke with yesterday were just so nice. What Royal Enfield do is make people want to get out and ride and enjoy the bikes and also share the camararderie of the brand. Next weekend (19/05/24) is the Distinguished Gentlemans Ride. Rod and me will be at Glasgow, him on his Meteor and me on the Classic 500. A wee red and chrome Classic 350 would feel right at home....👍
Great to hear that you enjoyed the video. I fully agree with your comments, these bikes on paper are pretty rubbish, but in the real world they’re very special. Sorry I can’t make the DGR ride as I’ll be at something else that day, participating and filming for a future video 🤣👍 Have a great time at the DGR, it should be awesome.
Thank you so very much. When I was young. I lived in farm. Countryside. The man that lived next to us. Raised. Race horses. He was from Scotland. My sister and I would sit on the fence and listen to him play the pipes very evening. I have very fond memories of it all. I really liked the. Motor bike gathering. Till everyone Hellow for me. Lemay Nelson. Vancouver Washington Pacific Northwest U S. A.
Many thanks, I really enjoyed making this video. My first attempt at interviewing people and I think it worked out quite well . A fund day was had by all 😁👍
HI Ian, it was great to see the event was well supported. I was surprised not to more 535's gt, especially as the price of them has dropped through the floor understdably though due to the improvements of the 650. That being said, I bet there are lots of them sitting in the back of garages collecting dust. I wonder what reaction a 535 gt would have gotten with the newer smoother 350 engine. I have always had an itch for the 535 but for some reason, never scratched it. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next installment. 👍
Hi FWM, there are a few 535’s in this area which are stunning bikes. I also think they’re great, not sure what they would be like to live with, never having ridden one. Hopefully, I’ll get to ride the red 535 in the video in the next months or so, and make a video of that experience. It was a fun wee gathering of enthusiastic Royal Enfield owners, really enjoyed making this video 😁👍
I can see why RE has been called the HD of India. Great following and group of people. Like they say, " if you have to ask, you wouldn't understand". What is utilitarian in a lot of the world is becoming a cult bike. Looking forward to finding a similar group in my NE Ohio area. Bought a Classic 350 and a GT 650 at the very beginning of the year. With customization of both they were less than my R1250rs., my over the road bike. My problem is I fall in love with most everything 2 wheels. 👍👍5🏍🙋♂️
The last couple of years it’s been in spring at the start of the riding season. Unfortunately Powmill isn’t big enough anymore as too many bike are turning up. No idea where or when the next one will be. Great event so hopefully it’ll be even bigger and better next year 👍😁
Its MrT a very good if not excellent video of the gathering of Royal Enfield's if u go into Hitchcock's book of parts u shall c the chain split link 520 chain connector there w stop rings part No DID 520 Link
Great to hear that you enjoyed the video 👍 Regarding the chain connector, you are mistaken. The chain connector I fitted to my chain in the video used the DID rivet connector that was supplied with the chain. The tool I used to fit the chain shapes the head of the rivet and forms a permanent fixing. The chain split link that you are referring to does have stop rings and an easily removable split ring. This style of connector is also supplied with the chain, but it is not the one I used in my video, mine uses the stronger rivet one. The link below shows the one you’re referring to and not the one I fitted. Hope this explanation helps 👍 accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/47043?cont_page=information-and-services/Royal-Enfield-350-Classic-Accessories&page=4

I don't see many Scram 411 bikes on the road. If I get a partner for the Classic 350, a Scram is the bike I'll have.
You’re correct, you don’t see many Scram’s on the road, they’re a rare breed 🏍️🤣
Hope you enjoyed the video 👍
😍🍀👍🤝
Great to hear you enjoyed the video 👍
Hallo hat da jemand auch eine Classic Signals??
Hi Steven
Yes there are a few Signals models in the area, but none on that particular day.
Hope you enjoyed the video 👍
Funny, seems like hardly anything more than 5 years old. 535s? 750s? Build quality has sure improved under Mr Siddartha....
Hope you enjoyed the video, yes it’s mainly more modern Royal Enfield models that turn up at these events.
These ones will be old one day as well 🤣👍
