@WeightliftingHouse It has been 30 years since Czechoslovakia split into two separate countries Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. Love your content, but being a Czech myself this hurts.
I think its just because in the uk a lot of the maps we have in schools are pretty old and still have Czechoslovakia on them, at least mine did, and it kind of gets ingrained in your brain despite being told otherwise
I’d like to know what criteria Seb uses when he identifies someone as a snatch specialist or jerk specialist. Marino had a lousy day in the snatch missing everything in front and bombing. But before he did Seb said he was a snatch specialist and mentioned bests of 124 and 157. That is 79%. I know there are more good snatchers than jerkers but 79% seems to be a pretty reasonable ratio.
43:35 - 10 lifters and only 3 successful 3rd attempt snatches. 1:09:13 - Yikes, the skin on his neck looks very unhappy. 1:35:39 - 6 of 10 successful 3rd attempt C & J's, much better.

Massidda so humble and with a smile coming out to congratulate Mishlidze. New huge fan here!
What an epic battle for the top spot, and Cosmin was super impressive, looking forward to see more of him
Sergio is the One who has a chance of finally getting us the Gold. He's made entirely of muscles and Heart. And Balls

Amazing snatch by Mishvelidze

I rewinded it 3 times to make sure I heard it correctly 😂
Weird, Seb isnt that old to be used to referrring to Czechoslovakia..

No belt or knee sleeves for the Italians. It's all about aesthetics! 😎
Got to admit, the Italian athletes look great either women or men and very young too.
It's that dodgy squat jerk that makes it always unpredictable

Dimov needs to move up a weightclass. Or two. Great contest in the end though.
Maybe Marinov needs more shoulder flexibility for the Snatch. No excuse to putting the weight on the groove to loose forward afterwards.
17:08 what he needs to improve ?
Dude, Czechoslovakia doesn't exist anymore, for 3 centuries. It´s mainly the two separate nations Czech Republic and Slovakia, nowadays.
I get your point, but 3 CENTURIES you say? thats a really long time mate 😃
@@grzywi19 😅 you are right, it was 3000 years ago.

Christmas day is not on the 21st.. So, Marinov is not celebrating his birthday on christmas, like the commentator said ;)
Maybe a dumb question, but why are the turkish people disliked?
I was gonna ask this too. Why was the crowd "hostile" to the Turkish lifter? What gives?

@@tjbanvillemutual hatred is an understatement. Turkey commited an Armenian Genocide and tried to wipe it from recent history.
