I got these a while ago and when I put them on it was hard to get them perfectly fit and tight enough to stay on without rubbing against the brake pads. Big return for me. But glad you like them!
maybe if you have enough clearance between brake and wheel but if you're running factory wheels, you're going to want to pop them off, just makes life a lot easier.
About a month ago I removed them because the paint was bubbling pretty bad. Rc replaced them but I never reinstalled, didn’t want to deal with the paint peeling again.
Hey , thanks for posting that video , i got them on my red 22 laramie night edition , they look sick , just one question, are they sitting tight on your car? Mine are kinda moving when I touch them , thanks
Thank you Sir . On rough country’s website it says specifically that this caliber cover requires a 18” wheel or larger to fit . I was surprised because MGP caliper covers states we need to have a 20” wheel. I’m very interested to know if these would fit on my 18” OEM RAM REBEL 2020 wheels ?? 🤔🤔🤔 what do you think ? I would get these in a heart beat . Love your channel bro . TU .
@@WaterFowler41 Just spoke with Rough country . In order to use this caliper cover with the OEM 18” Rebel wheels , you need to get a .25” wheel spacer . I just ordered both so we shall see . 🤞🙂🇺🇸👍
Just want to update my experience with the Rough country’s Caliper covers . These do not fit with the 18” OEM wheels . It’s extremely tight . I tried my best because they assured me it would work . I just noticed that there website now says you must have 20” wheel or bigger . Im not happy ! 🤬😤
Great video!! I will be getting a set! Just curious; does the 150 ft-lbs lug nut torque you stated apply specifically to your new wheels? OEM Rebel wheel are 130 ft-lbs (at least that's what my manual states). Thanks and keep the videos coming!
I misspoke, 150 is usually my go to for wheels. I did so much work on my last truck and the wheels required 150 but you are correct the newer rams are 130. Just checked it.
I like these and they do look good, but if they come off while ur going fast or really any moderate speed, bye bye rim, bye bye valve stem=flat tire and probably brake line too. Just not worth the risk. Vid of mine on my channel
You’d really have to botch the install for these to fall off. Install is a bolt and a nut so if someone manages to mess that up, not sure I’d recommend them working on their own truck…
THESE ARE NOT MADE FROM ROUGH COUNTRY….THEY ARE MADE FROM A COMPANY CALLED AOOA RACING….I HAD THEM MAKE ME THE FIRST SET FOR 5TH GEN RAM OVER 2 YEARS AGO….NOT ONE ISSUE WITH THEM…BUT MINE ARE MOPAR BLUE WITH BREMBO DECALS ON THEM…I HAVE DRILLED AND SLOTTED ROTORS WHICH HELP WITH ANY COOLING ISSUES ….
As always appreciate the comments Marty… love the all caps on this one. I’d love for you to send me some pictures of your truck. With all your great comments on my videos your truck has to be one hell of a build. Send pics over to waterfowler4one@gmail.com

That red looks great with the white and black of the Rebel.
I agree!
These look easy enough to install without taking off the wheels

@@WaterFowler41 I got huge ones on I got the room..still waiting for them 10days after ordering
They look great
I liked them, too bad the finished failed on them
Calipers are stationary. Rotors rotate with the wheels. Nice video!
You are correct.
Hey There. Great video. How are the caliper covers doing now 9 months later? Thought about buying a few for my new Tundra from RC. Look great!

Hi did you install on Tundra. I have a 23 limited on TRD OR 20” wheel.
@elyramirez625 that will look sick!
@@WaterFowler41yikes 😳 that stinks that the paint was bubbling

I mean if their site says they’ll fit, I say go for it.
@@WaterFowler41 I’m really considering it . I’ll post on here if I get them and update . 🤞😀🇺🇸

Will they fit with the stock 18" rims?
I would guess so but I would check with RC to verify.

I’ve been on their website they don’t seem to have an option for 5th Gen rams… any suggestions?
Sorry correction 4th Gen ram
