I just got one of these controllers today and learning to play call of duty modern warfare 3 all over again because of this controller. But wow makes a difference with shorter trigger movement , paddles to help drop shot and jump. Game changer. Can’t beat em - join em

I think it’s worth it from a stick drift standpoint, I have experienced stick drift with 3 different dualsense controllers while my ps4 DualShock lasted 4 years without a single issue, so from a financial perspective the swappable thumb sticks are a game changer
Yo I know u comment this some long time ago but get a small towel wet it pull ur stick up then rub the towel along it move the stick in circular motions then just blow with ur mouth on each side
@@deezakdah2165I did everything I could I used an ear swab soaked in alcohol and pressed it into the circle gap of the stick and tried blowing it to remove dust, it definitely works but it comes back after 1/2 weeks and eventually that method just stops working after a while

Just got mine today , had my ps5 controller straight out the box never dropped it probably once or twice nothing major all a sudden starts going straight to the left hopefully I don’t have the issue with the pro
I’m a casual gamer as well and honestly everyone should get some sort of pro controller it helps a lot with learning new mechanics for every type of game

I picked one up for $100 new, some lady had it on Facebook market place. I think she buys the Amazon crates, because she didn't know anything about it or what it was worth. She posted it, and I seen in within a min of it going on market place. I messaged her immediately, and went and got it. Best decision I've made, I use to have a elite series 2 for my pc. I'm use to the back buttons, and having full control over my settings. I love my dual edge controller for my ps5.

Buy a SCUF instead, the main selling point is being able to change out the joysticks but the replacements are only available like twice a year, if you're lucky. Stick drift is a little more delayed than normal, only took 9 months instead of 6 like my original. But I've been waiting 3 months for restocked stick modules.
I use it wired on my PC and I’ve had it for a year now. It’s been great, just make sure you update your software. I’ve not yet had to change the sticks and I play a fair bit of COD lol.. worth it for me
It’s branded as a competitive controller almost everyone uses it wired . The only bad thing is that the grip bubbles after a while I had to change out the shell and I made mine a clear black color
you might not game 4-5 hours but the other 99.99% do. I like the elite series 2 controller, nice battery life at 40-ish hours and works really well. you can adjust the tension for the analog sticks, swap out the dpad and has 4 additional programmable buttons.
Worth the $200. Not mentioned is the fact it comes with like a 4ft braided USB C -A cable that also locks into the controller

Stick drift isn’t a problem if you have your thumb constantly on the analog stick
I use the edge for casual gaming and I like the feel of it and also the flippers for the back

If it was maybe 125-150 usd I would say yes but not 200

As someone who plays for decent durations 5 hours is wild to be complaining over. It is dying telling you to take a brake for a while. And if you can't play while plugged, then get an extra battery life pack
I wouldn't mind buying this, even though it's expensive for a controller, but will use it for certain fps games like Call of Duty and Back 4 Blood.
Use a real pro controller with actual good trigger Lock's and 4 back buttons there's 0 reason to buy this if you care about winning
If even they remove the battery it's still good for me, always plug in for better input delay because pro mean for competitive purpose

Items with the controller hard case 9 foot usb c cable 4 paddles 2xhalf moon 2xpaddle usb c lock 6 thumsticks 2 low dome 2 high dome 2 ps5 stock size and shape.. And the controller doing math Sony would charge around 60-80 bucks just for the case and all accessories making the controller around 119 bucks without anything this is a similar if not exactly the same price as the Xbox elite core controller .. I've dropped 400+ in controllers alone just in dualsense controllers that have been effected with stick drift the swappable stick modules alone make it worth it specially since more then likely eventually a third party will make a hall effects module for it.. But also the stock ones are 19.99

You don’t know what you are talking about lol, In fact most of the ones I have seen review don’t they complain about things that 1. aren’t really are issue or 2. Are not even true, first off while the people say that the battery can only last up to 5-6 hours of gameplay( haven’t timed it myself but it seems consistent with what I usually experience) it can be improved by making the lights dimmer and turning off vibrations which you already don’t want in lots of competitive games, while I haven’t done it myself those who have say you can get somewhere around 8 hours, not only that but you can also play wired to eliminate input delays which will give you a edge over other players, another point is that while you can only save up 3 short cut profile in your Function button you can have all more than that but can only have three in the short cut due to the limit of buttons, not only that but this controller have lots of way you can modify it to your preference and it also gets rid of sir o drift since you can just replace your sticks for like $20 buck when they start to stick, and it’s also way less expensive than lots of pro controller on the market
Cheaper than a scuf control my scuf didn't ever last 6 months had it repaired once and the same shit they repair broke and my warranty was up so 200 bucks compared to 325 yeah way worth it don't let battery life fool when you can plug it in.

@@triyo1089 bro when that stuff reflex came out I think it was like almost 300 after customize it! 1 month later the click button broke on the l2 sent it in. Came back like 3 weeks later about 2 weeks with it. The l2 broke again. Send it back in. Didn't get it for about another 3 weeks now. I got it back and they map my L3 to R3. So now I got two L3 buttons 😂😂😂😂 I cried n gave up.

Handful of console ports i play on roller to though or stuff like dark souls. Plan on getting a ps5 BB soon though for my ps5 which i only bought for exclusives and blood borne xD somy exclusives are way better than xbox plus most xbox exclusives are coming to pc since microsoft decided to bring them.

If your not a wired person use the regular controller while your edge recharge then switch back.

It makes me so mad they didn't add 4 back buttons. If someone didn't want the other 2, they could just taken it off gave players the options, but that's why I won't settle for it

Use wired and you’ll get a faster response from the remote. Not might seem like much but in shooting games, every second counts.

It’s also nice because it comes with a looong usb c charger and it has a lock for it so it won’t get a short or get loosened over the months/ years the amount of times I’d charge mt controller while playing it only to end up having the cords hardly stay in has been to many

People do know that you can plug your PS5 controller in to any USB C outlet, right? Like say you’re charging your phone or something, you can use that cord while you’re playing and be far from the console.

It’s worth it for the mere fact you’ll never have to buy a new controller cuz of stick drift so it’ll last way longer you can just replace sticks
Just buy a DualShock 4. Using my current PS4 controller for nearly 5 years and I game at least 2 hrs daily. Battery life is still pretty solid, no stick drift even after so long, super comfortable for long gaming sessions and experience no pain or fatigue for multiple hours while holding it with my mid-sized hands. Ergonomically superior to DualSense imo(at least with average sized hands). All buttons still work perfectly and have 0 problems with it even today. The fact that people keep buying new DualSense controllers due to stick drift is a huge L. Sony might be doing it purposely to sell more controllers for profit. DualSense might have more features but the PS4 controller is truly the perfect controller in terms of long term, reliable use.

Well sometimes you just forget/are too lazy to put the controller on charge at the end of your session and it forces you to play wired the next time. And most play on a couch far away from their console so wired isnt very practical.

I mean, the buttons layout didn't change since it came out and all of its upsides are still here: precise trigger buttons, anatomically correct shape and etc.

I actually about got one last week till I noticed the ps5 controllers were only $49 I just bought 2 ps5 controllers and ordered the extremerate rise 4 back button kit and vital play dune 2 trigger stops and have 2 controllers that does the same thing but have 4 back paddles Insted of 2

I play wired practically everytime bcs my PC doesn't have BT and my dualshock have massive stick drift. Said this, 5h of battery in a 200$ controller it's just ridiculous, but with that shitty compatibility don't matter that much.

I also play on a monitor so I can just easily plug in my controller if I have to and I get what you mean for a pro controller they can add more features but for me it’s just perfect because since I can’t use 4 paddles and 2 is all I need. I also play a lot of ufc 4 so that stick drift really matters to me and I could just easily replace the thing for $20 instead of buying another controller.

i’m pretty sure it’s worth it because of all the features that comes with it just for only be 200 which is a pair of in zone Sony earbuds I prefer my custom controllers, but they also cost more because there’s more stuff on them but that controller does seem really good. If you don’t wanna spend a lot and you can still be great at games it’s def a yes whatever you get, please get something get a custom controller or get that witch is custom but I like making my own I used to use a regular PS five controller for so long until I went on aim controllers and it helps me so much at cod and Fortnite

I'm thinking about picking one up for just literally the back paddles. I've yet to experience drift on my controller, but then again, I don't beat on my controllers and play for hours upon hours at a time all the time. Lol That's what some of you guys in the comments are obviously doing.
I only just play for hours it's the dust that's the problem which sometimes you can just clean it out but others you can't which shouldn't be the case Sony should make their controllers with hall effect but they want the consumer to buy more controllers

why are you getting it if your a casual gamer one, two if your actually buying this to go pro or improve your game you should run wired anyways, three the only reason this is any good to the casual gamers is beacuse of its back buttons and moduler sticks, i own this controller and personally think it is the best ps5 pro controller out right now if you have been a fan of playstation for awhile and like a premium feel.
